The most complete guide to Sepang ever! Turn 1 was explained even better than the locals here. With kerb usage and brake markers included, this is essentially a sepang cheat sheet. Well done Scott

These circuit guides are really informative, not because I will ever drive Sepang, but because the guides show you how pro drivers break down a circuit.

I hate turn 9-12....difficult to control the car when at this corners...turn 1-2 is hard too but easy to control the car when you know the rules

Hello Scott. Though I have never been privy to race in an actual Formula 1 or any other type of race car, I have been an avid "PC sim racer" over the years. I used to own the game, "F1 Challenge: '99-'02" many years ago. At the time, it was probably easily (and perhaps nearly still is) an uber-challenging and realistic Formula 1 sim, the best in its day. I raced very very many 'practice laps' at all the Formula 1 venues around the world for the years 1999-2002 but only entered and raced in one actual race at Silverstone, England. The race was uber-uber-uber-uber grueling and required ultra concentration and confidence. It lasted an hour and a half, about 45 laps (?) and I ended up, UBER-MIRACULOUSLY- finishing first: I beat Michael Schumacher (the best F1 driver of the 90s and one of the best F1 racers of all time) and his team Ferrari by a margin of 8 seconds. I raced for BMW-Williams. This is actually the only race I have ever entered...in any PC game I've owned: I've driven countless 'practice laps' but only one race. Hence, I have an unbeaten record and streak: 1-0. My opinion is that the Malaysia Sepang circuit is easily one of the best, and one of my favorite Formula 1 circuits that has ever existed: I don't know what your opinion of it is or how much other real life Formula 1 drivers like or dislike this circuit compared to other Formula 1 tracks. I think this is an awesome circuit: The track surface is somewhat 'slippy'-> (as Bear Grylls would say) and bumpy.......very very gritty. Whether realistic or not, this is how the track was rendered in the PC game, "F1 Challenge"... The circuit is primarily comprised of medium and high speed turns which are varied and fairly unique and original. I love how wide open this track is, I'm definitely not a fan of claustrophobic "street circuits" such as Gillevilleneuve and especially Monaco, which I loathe, and which track is totally impossible to race on the keyboard. The sand which encumbers the Sepang track seems to be deep and very difficult to get 'unstuck' out of once you veer onto it. Racing Sepang on the keyboard (I've never owned an analog steering wheel) is very challenging, but not overtly. A lap is fast and furious and intense. The grandstands are huge, colorful and nice looking...

I speak from experience when I say this track is quite difficult. I've done at least 500 laps here in my Indycar (cough in Grid Autosport on my iPad cough) and I'm nowhere close to mastering it.

We are GIT. Get It Tuned from Malaysia. We specialise in CoilOver Tuning & Configurations. We have one machine (Proton Saga VVT) which is our customer. The machine was Front Wheel Drive. This is our customer’s review. He went to some place in Kuala Lumpur that famous with “Suspension Tuning”. Then he use their “tuning” on Sepang Circuit for Time Attack. He got 3 minutes 15 second as fastest time. Before he went to another event, he came to us to try our formula. We apply our formula on his Saga VVT. We Re-Tuned it’s Adjustable CoilOver to necessary level to have better handling & traction and keep the original configuration. We honestly never enter Sepang Circuit. He told us that the fastest time attack he got was 3 minutes sharp. He saves 15 seconds. I tried search for Sepang Circuit Layout and I was surprised that the Circuit has 15 corners. Which make sense that he could remain accelerates instead of worrying about loosing traction while cornering. Have you seen one of a tire hunged while taking a sharp cornering? That is a sign of poor understanding of Tuning by the tuners. All 4 tires should never hunged and remain contact with the track so that the driver can handle the car and as a part of safety. Basicly, that is what a Suspension is all about. That is the significance of getting the right Suspension Tuning. We have our Facebook Pages & Instagram. Search for Get It Tuned (GIT). We invented the formula and has already use it on various machine such as E93, Impreza, E60, Cefiro A31, Civic FD, KE-70, City TMO, and many more. It’s proven will give the consistent results to your needs. It can be use for on the road driving. No problem. It’s proven many times. We have done it to more than 1,000 cars. We also knows how to configure your CoilOver so that it can be more comfortable then the original setup given by any brand that you bought. And many more. What ever the brand you use, Get It Tuned. Get It Done. Whatsapp +60193497430 for appointment. We also can arrange for international customers. Thanks.
