A ride of featureless fields and boring back garden walls and fences. I had wanted to visit as a youngster, but having seen the video it is no longer on my list of places to visit. Malcolm

Sorry you feel that way Malcolm. Anyone who expects the railway to be in Welsh type scenery obviously misses the point. The railway may not be scenically beautiful but it is certainly interesting enough to warrant a visit. Both the loco collection and the operation is hard to match on even the best of heritage railways.
