I out walking when I saw a couple of train buffs running to the train line--I figured it must be the annual heritage run (it was too early for the wheat trains, they generally go up at around 5am and come back about 12 hours later. Occasionally they use the track for driver training, but there's only a couple of carriages then). You can see all three of us at around the 40 second mark. When I was a kid I wanted to be a train driver. Thanks for the videos.

I guess the odd bends in the track were to get the cut for the fill. Being passed by a "Hotshot" was pretty exciting, although it wasn't the length of a US conist, almost two miles now.

What is the line speed on that section apart from the 20 speed limits. By the sounds you were coasting a lot.
