Drivers eye view, Fielder to Gembrook, May 2024

Travel along the Puffing Billy Railway from Fielder to Gembrook in the Dandenong ranges in the East of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia on the 2ft 6inch gauge railway which was once the lifeline connecting this area to the rest of the state. Now a magical ride for tourists, it runs through the beautiful scenery that the ranges have to offer. Well worth the trip and easy to get to with the connecting Melbourne suburban railway at Belgrave.

16:25 How wonderful it would be to live in one of the houses on the right, being able to regularly watch the various trains go slowly by. You missed the turn off. Just before you get into this station. When that is finished you will get all the way to Beenak. Although the intermediate stop might be at Gilwell Park. I think if they went straight ahead here it would damage a sacred national monument. The PUB.

We push back from the town platform to the heritage platform. We run around then push the cars back into the platform prior to heading over for Engine Requirements
