Another great video, Colin. We used to live at Barjarg and regularly went to Benalla and Wangaratta by road. Great to see the rail view. Thanks again.

Funny this popped up, as I put my daughter on the 7.38 from Wang this very morning!! It's nice to 'virtually ' share the trip with her.

A get to travel with your daughter on your screen. 😀 a nice coincidence 👍😀

The new bridge south of the station at Glen Rowan caused me to pause the video and on to google maps only to be disappointed by the latest street view showing the 2010 view. In 2015 we went up to Wangaratta and down to Glen Rowan to see where Ned Kelly got rounded up for no other reason than my wife's name is Kelly. Keep up the good work, Anthony

You never know, there could be a long lost connection to Ned?? 🤔 Glad you enjoyed the video 👍 😀

I'd love to use my free travel voucher to go to Albury, last time I went there by train was on a V line pass in the 80s hauled by an A class, knowing my luck I'd book it then it would be replaced by bus, hopefully do XPT one way and V/locity the other.

Is Victoria going small gauge?an how long are plate forms they look long
@driver6678 ай бұрын
The platforms are generally 6 cars long but some like these were longer to accommodate the longer interstate trains of years gone by. This line was converted to standard gauge a number of years ago. 👍😀

@@BLAZEPLAZS there are people working on the train, other than the driver....they look after passengers/check tickets/cards etc....there's simply no need for a traditional guard as such on these types of trains, as with modern tech, the driver can handle a lot more. I personally think guards on trains are still important....but the budget says no! Fewer and fewer trains, around the world, will likely have guards going forward, but they will have passenger attendants etc.
