Drivers view | Sri Lanka Railways double Class W3 on the coast line!

Hi, I'm Shiyan. I love the Class W3 locomotive. It's shorter than Class M6. What can be done for locomotives that are getting weak? I hope we can renew them and use them rather than throwing them away. I believe that the Class M6 locomotive will always be in good condition. It's my all-time favourite.

These days it can rarely see in upcountry line why is that?

Yeah, they are getting weak now due to their age and lack of spares I think. Just about 4-5 of them in running condition now. 665 is stabled up country at the time being. The rest are either running breakdown trains or hauling broken/repaired compartments to the works and maybe 1 or 2 of them are running the Katunayake airport oil train.

@@as2130 all running up to date, except for M2D 629 which against has a faulty generator. M6s have received wheels, so most of them will come back.
