I am currently halfway through one of your 4.5 hour epics (Southern Cross to Swan Hill), but am happy to take a little break to see more (Seymour?) of this lovely railway on the other side of the country. 😁 Life is good.

Good to see semaphore signals and box controlled points being used. Is this a purpose built railway or has it been a part of a revenue railway?

It was purpose built in Whiteman park in the 1980's as a tourist railway. 👍😀

Purpose built though some of the infrastructure such as station buildings and signalling equipment came from the main WA rail network.

If it was a steam loco pulling the train it would be much more tourist orientated. A search of Australia should be made for small steam locomotive.

Fowler locomotive was it built by Fowler of Leeds isis sugar mill?
