How To Build A Racecar | Mx5 NB Turbo

I have never seen such a young group of guys execute such a mature, well-thought out build! For those who are familiar with building MX5 racecars, this build is a perfect balance of quality, cost, and effectiveness. Whoever is the "thinker" behind this build, they are extremely smart. And - if you drive with the same cool logic you used on the build, then your competitors are all in big trouble! Congratulations :)

The only thing that I would change is the turbo for a build (Forged) ITB or supercharged engine. The spool and turbo behaviour would lead to more unpredictable driving character when driving on the limit. Have no experience with MX-5 turbo's, but that is just my guess/opinion so far. ITB's and supercharger have better gas response and linear powerband, leading to better control of the car at the limit.

Evo will be less headache then a turbo Miata. But whatever makes you happy brother I'd personally go with the Miata 😀

Before u do replace every libe and fitting for cooling system take it from someone who didn’t do it lol

@@larrynichols2113 yeah ofcourse, there is both full turbo kits and half kits out there. I will go with a half kit (meaning, pipes, headers, intercooler, etc) is all included in the kit. Everything but the actual turbo and ecu. That way i can ceep the cost down a little bit. The full kits (like flyin miata 3200$) is a bit out of my price range
