I’ve had the pleasure of riding in one and it is one of the nicest vehicles I’ve ever been in.. and I’ve had Lamborghini, Porsche, other Audis, BMWs, Range Rover, etc in my family. The feeling alone of this car is just so special and exclusive feeling. The leather smell is amazing.. the seating position is perfect. And it had no business being that FAST! Man that thing hauls ass.. I felt like I was in at least a twin turbo V6

Double clutch transmission on this car is so silky smooth. Place it in Sport mode and it's faster than most cars in its segment. Interior isn't revolutionary, but it will age really well. Love mine!

Just bought a 2020 Premium Plus, picking it up in 2 days. It’s blacked out and looks so good. Funny because I went out looking for a BMW sedan and ended up with an Audi SUV. The handling is really good too. Test drove the Q5 and instantly fell in love with it. Big upgrade from my Honda Accord.

Same thing happened to me. Went to go test drive a x1 but ended up test driving the q3. Didn't get it cause I want a bit mote space so that's why I'm looking at the q5. Been driving an altima for the last 8 years. How is the car?

@@JustinAugustusNYC So far I'm really liking it. The ride is super smooth. Bumps and potholes are barely noticeable. The handling is also really nice since it's AWD. It does use a lot more gas but that's expected (It also uses premium gas). It's also suprisingly quick for an SUV with ~260hp. You get pushed back (along with everything else in the car) when you floor it. I've had it for a week so far and it's been a fun car.

Lol at all these comments from people that have never driven a Q5. It is easily the best in class of this size crossover suv. I have a brand new Q5 which replaced a 2014 Q5 that was damaged in a wreck by an idiot texting while driving. First of all it held up like a champion during the wreck and my wife and I didnt even have a scratch on us while the other guy completely destroyed his car and had to go off in an ambulance. Also, if you buy these at the right time like I did you can easily get $10k off sticker price which eliminates all the complaints about depreciation and puts it in line with pretty much everything else on the market outside of 4runners and Wranglers that magically never seem to depreciate. To the people that complain about no touch screen, I am very thankful to have gotten the last generation of Q5 without the touch screen. I love having the scroll wheel and physical buttons at the same time as a very good infotainment without having nasty fingerprints on screens and having to reach to the dash for control of the screen. Touch screens are the worst. Viva la scroll wheel.

Brandon Hall I also have a ‘14 Q5 S line with 3.0 SC engine. There is no way I’m giving that car up. Audi comes at me regularly to upgrade. I jacked mine up a bit, cuz that’s just what I like to do, and it is just so much fun to drive and with 55k miles on it short of wrecking it I’m not trading this one in. It owes me nothing but a great driving experience. Even if I did, Don’t think I could drop down to a 4 cylinder with 100 less HP. I’d have to scout out an SQ5. Cheers!

@@meddy0811 Inventory is currently in short supply right now, so they aren't really offering much discount off sticker price. Financing is cheap right now, but not much discount. With Audi, they are very late in getting out the next years models compared to all other brands. You will have to wait until those 2021's start to arrive and they will start discounting the 2020's heavily to get them off the lot and make room for the new ones. The end of the year and beginning of next year is the best for buying an Audi. I bought mine at the beginning of the year once the next years model arrived on the lot. They were a lot of the previous year models still left on the lots unsold, so they discounted them big time! Hope that helps!

Can you review the driver assist features more in depth in the future? Such as lane keep assist, does it center your or bounce you back and forth? Does it work at all speeds or only above 45mph like my Accord? Etc. No other reviewer goes in depth. That's one way for your channel to grow.

I am not sure why you are calling this a 2020 Q5. It is rather a 2019 Q5. Dealer website confirms that no 2020 Q5 in their stock as of Oct 31, 2019.

It actually is a 2020, but this one was initially scheduled for Loaner Car Service, and we are flipping it to new car inventory (the 2020's are not officially available for retail sale as of filming, but the 2020's have different 19" rims than the 2019's, so rest assured it is a 2020!

mike flores S line is an appearance package basically. Prestige is the top of the line version that comes with a heads up display & more active safety systems

I don’t think there’s an S-like option in the US. There’s a black optics package which replaces most of exterior chrome w shiny black trims.

I haven't tested a Macan yet so can't say for sure. The Q5 is a pretty amazing SUV and if you wanted more speed you can opt for the SQ5.

Do you find the Audi Q5 worth the premium over mainstream SUVs you have reviewed like the Touring trims of the Mazda CX-5, Subaru Forester, RAV4 and Honda CR-V? These are about $10,000 - $15,000 less I am guessing vs the Audi.

The Q5's power definitely stood out. The cabin quality was better too. But as for tech, ride quality and comfort, the upper trims of the main stream SUVs are very close if not equal. But then again their price isn't too far off.

Just in 4 years , the price of Audi car drops to 50% where as Lexus , Toyota, Acura cars stays within 75% after 4 years of driving. The main reason is because of the engine problems like oil leak, coolant leak, vibration etc.

Anti Singh car resale value data is available to anyone, you’re not unique in any way for having access to that information. I was curious - so I just now went to look at 5 year old highlanders, and they are selling at 60 to 65 percent of their original msrp. The higher resale relative to a brand such as Audi isn’t due to reliability, as you’re suggesting (largely). Luxury vehicles are leased primarily, and low Milage lease returns flood the market, which drives down resale. Toyota owners tend to hold onto their cars longer, creating more demand for low mileage cars which are only a few years old..driving up resale. None of this is complicated.

When I bought my 2012 Audi Avant new, consumer reports rated the Audi A-4 second in reliability after the number one rated Toyota Highlander. Ha! You will see after owning an Audi after several years how unreliable and incredibly expensive the cars are to own. Stay away!

Kuncen RIG well the water pump went out around 30K, the fuel pump went out at around 40K, at 45 K the car was consuming 1 qt of oil for every 500 miles driven. I finally had the rings, pistons and timing chain replaced last fall at 53k miles. One day after receiving the car from the pistons and rings being replaced, the radio shorted out because of a back up of water in the drain tubes from the sunroof. The car at 58k runs like a new one. After investing nearly 50k ( with purchase and repairs) the car although in excellent condition is maybe worth 10k.

@@grantbradley5084 i see, sorry to hear that. I once had E36 in my life and she was a tank but i sold it, tbh i just change oil and filters regularly but its old M40 motor nonetheless. So nothing compare to your 2012 A4 with modern motor in it, based on yours.. Purchasing newer bimmer might have similar reliability issues And no. I dont acquire any car at this moment Side note. EUR version of 2.0TFSI is running port and direct injection, but not in the us(just DI). And BMW B series has won any award, even Toyota took it. So German has changed now maybe

Kuncen RIG Some older Audi’s are reliable. I’m very familiar with BMWS, some motors are better than others. I’ve owned BMW motorcycles for years, still do with no problems. It’s unfortunate that the majority of automobile manufacturers are cutting costs on manufacturing vehicles to increase their profit margins. No brand is immune. The technology does exist. But car manufacturers are reluctant to implement these changes because people would not be replacing the cars as quickly.

Ronnie Zimmerman your neighbor is very fortunate. The cars are built well,however Audi took the cheap route on the newer A4s with the low quality rings that were destined to fail. I do enjoy my A4, it’s a solid car. Keeping the fingers crossed about the consumption issue since it’s been addressed.
