When your test driver was illustrating the hands-free option of the rear hatch, he correctly demonstrated waving his foot under the bumper to OPEN the rear hatch, but really should have demonstrated the fact that you can wave your foot under the rear bumper to CLOSE the hatch in case both arms are full of groceries, etc.

I just bought one. Love it except when it come to the interior the mercedez glc is more beautiful. Even with the prestige package, I can say the wheels are very ordinary looking. Yet, I still love it.

Great video. I find the Q5 to be much more boring than the GLC and X3, but that’s just my opinion. I used to own a 2010 Q5 and loved it. Great video btw!

2016 F15 N55 the 2013 and up 3.0T supercharged and tuned is not so bad. Agree... I think the previous gen interiors were tastefully more luxurious. New interior feels sterile though the tech is nice to distract. What do you have now?

SnowBoarder&Skier it’s amazing compared to the average car, yet it falls short of the Q7, it’s about the same as the Mercedes GLE. I unfortunately had to buy an X5 off the lot since my Q5 was having major issues and I needed a new car quickly, so I couldn’t order one with the M sport package and the adaptive suspension. All the ones on the lot that did actually have the M sport package had a terrible interior colour.

oxysz - The Q3 interior updates are the same as the Q8, the A6, A7, and A8. They’re moving all their cars to the dual touch screens, virtual cockpit interface.

In terms of power-folding mirrors, you DO NOT have to move up to a Premium Plus or Prestige variant. You can spec a 2020 Q5 Premium model with the Convenience package which will option the vehicle with power-folding mirrors.

Yep and right now you can add the Convenience Package and Conv Pkg Plus for $0 for the 2020 Q5 Premium trim in the US. I personally think any modern day vehicle must have the Blind Spot Monitoring, Auto-dimming, and Parking Sensors.

I don't know if I agree with a little bit of the posturing but I see going on here with respect to the model competition, the Q5 I was never created to compete with Mercedes GL C-Class, because when the Q5 came out there was no DLC there was the GL e( previously M class), the problem with Audi and Miss class is at for the approximate hundred 17 inch wheelbase, how are they going to justify for the $45,000 price tag a $32,000 Kia Sorento that 6in smaller and wheelbase has a third row seat and it's not just a tyke 3rd row seat…. that's why I can't take the Q5 serious anymore, and the three even less, there has to be some utility with the sporting for that kind of money they need to remember that they're not buying their own cars, people are there people expect their SUVs to have some utility with the sport and that's why I can't buy a Q5 again…. I had I believe the color was called meteor gray I could be wrong, with nougat Brown interior was a rare color combination in the premium plus package, I had the ones with that dreaded issue with the wastegate off the turbocharger Einstein designers decide to put the wastegate on the turbocharger which was stupid, they gave you that p0229 code error issue, and then the genius designers of the telematics, decided to just go unzipping their technological flying go chasing after Apple, when people don't necessarily want to own Apple product they should have just simply develop their own multimedia system instead of making it Apple Centric, people get tired of Germans telling them what to do after a while…… Audi's in Tire line is going to have problem because if the only vehicle you can get a third row seat in you have to spend a minimum of $58,000 Base MSRP oh, and didn't even have the sense to observe with BMW did and at least make a third row seat in X5 series, at least it optional Audi is without excuse its, it's all about the third row seat., you're taking options away from your client so they're going to take their money away from Audi.

I test drove it and it had terrible TURBO LAG, which felt like 2 seconds before any power arrived; nice interior though. BMW X3 finally looks nice externally and it had the least turbo lag, which felt like 1/2 seconds before the power arrived.

Something is wrong with your pricing numbers. If you start with the base price and add all the options and include the credit it should be less than 51,676. It is as if the credit was already included in the base price.

Great cars until they hit 40k miles. If you want one lease one. These cars are money pits! As much as I like the brand my 2012 avant- just had the rings and pistons replaced because of oil consumption issues, with only 55 k miles on the odometer.

DANAX actually they were not. I purchased the car new in March of 2012. Perhaps your not aware of the class action suit against Audi for the 2007-2009 B8 models for faulty rings and pistons. Apparently some of the later models 2010-2015 2.0 liter models have the same issue. Apparently my 2012 was afflicted as well. I still own the 2012 A4, it has nearly 60k miles and fortunately the oil consumption has been addressed. My wife owns a 2014 Audi tts with 32k miles with no issues at all.

Excellent reviews, but please eliminate the "audio demo", no one wants to hear the terrible "music" example. It is not helpful for buyers. Keep up the good work.

My only criticism with the audio sample is that if the person's speakers on the device they're watching on are not good, the audio sample is useless as the speakers will not pick up the differences. However, I do appreciate that you guys show this. Not a lot of reviewers do things like provide an audio sample or show the key fob.

I would agree the audio demo offers limited value in judging the sound quality, however I do like that it serves to demonstrate the user interface with the sound system. It's an important part of the infotainment design, yet some manufacturers make it needlessly complicated, so it is helpful to understand how easy it is to access.
