This week, I have tried a Q5 55 TFSIe and I have ordered a Q5 50 TFSIe. I have seen a lot of KZbin videos of my preferred cars (several brands and models). I think this is one of the best videos that I have seen of any car. I have been positively influenced by this video to order my Q5 TFSIe. Thank you Wize.

That was an interesting video. Fascinating tech. Quite surprising turn of speed with that Q5, which is somewhat plain looking. A Q car indeed. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. The A7 with that powertrain would probably be a good thing.

This is the most comprehensive Audi Q5 tfsiE on KZbin at the moment. How is the consumption? Does the battery recharge by just using the petrol engine, or just by breaking? Comparing to the Q7 hybrid, which one is better? Thanks

Excellent review and explanations! I m getting a new e55 in a week. Couple of easy quest: i. To recharge the battery while driving, is just braking, de -accelerating or both? ii. How much approx can you extend ev battery life while driving and recharging one hour a day? Iii. To recharge it at night you can use any 220-240kv at home? Many thanks.. first hybrid..

What about the older brother Q5 2.0 , 211hp, Hybrid from 2012? Is it a good buy? What is the average fuel consumption? Audi says 7l per 100km but that’s nonsense !!

Est-il possible de ne jamais recharger la batterie sur une prise ou une borne mais uniquement via la récupération d'énergie ?

Do you find that you get the stated range in EV mode? I was hoping it would have a range double of what it actually is.
@WiZe19725 жыл бұрын
Cheri Vaglienty Unfortunately, you never really get what they claim. In this case, you realistically get around 40 to 45km range. Then it depends also how you drive
@GodivAndCream5 жыл бұрын
@@WiZe1972 Sadly this is what I expected you to say. Video was a great explanation! While the range isn't what I wanted, I think I will still consider as my daily commute is not too much over the range you mentioned. Thanks for replying.

Hell of a lot of water in the charging port housing...could do with some weather sealing.
@kevinkok764 жыл бұрын
rufdymond if you charge it outside in the elements the area will be reflective of the elements present (door stays open when plugged in) but the controls and charge port are sealed and safe.

really weird that it’s still called e-tron in the menus... they should’ve fixed that, I mean it’s just some software. And now they’re still calling the hybrid A3 a „e-tron“

Can’t trust Audi’s Hybrid tech tbh. I have a 2019 Audi Q5 (2.0L diesel) and I switch the stop/start off as the startup is so jerky like it’s a tractor. Had similar problem with my previous Passat on which I had to get a new alternator which broken in just over 3 yrs. Toyota have had this tech for over 20 yrs while Audi have been sitting on their backside peddling substandard diesel and stop/start tech. Thieves and liars tbh. Any good mechanic will tell u, don’t use stop/start on VW group cars.
@neog1248 Жыл бұрын
You can’t compare the start-/stop system with this plug-in hybrid system, because they work in two very different ways.
