Good summary of the Model X. Incidentally, you don't need to keep your finger on the button when sliding/tilting the middle seat forward to access the rear seats. Just press it once briefly and it slides and tilts automatically for access. Press again briefly and it goes back into its original position. You made it look harder than it is!

How is charging at home compared to gassing up at station all the time?

As a 4+ year model S owner, I have to say that charging at home is so much nicer than going to a gas station. It's just like your cell phone. You plug it in when you get home, and next day it's full and ready to go. Awesome. Plus - I've driven mine 94,000 km in those 4.5 years, and it's only cost me $1200 CAD - beat that, any car on the road.

Hey Robert. It's been a while. Great to hear from you and many thanks. It is expensive and to be honest I rarely test something this dear and don't end up thinking that I'd rather go for a lesser model in the range but the Model X is pure theatre and makes you feel incredibly special.

No, you have to be very poor to save the planet, if you are poor you don't need private transport, you walk or bicycle to work, Wealthy people destroys the planet just because of what they have. If you got nothing you can't do much harm to the planet or to anybody :D

$150,000 but California has great incentives and you can also get a tax write off if you purchase it for "business" use.. Not to mention the money you save on gas and maintenance 👍

You might be able to open the door without bashing the car next to you but the same can't be said for who parks next to you. For £100k I'd still park away from everyone else.

Very true. The quiet part of car parks are full of nice car with caring owners.

Agreed, but sometimes people park close to you regardless. Or sometimes all the available spaces are narrow and you simply have no choice. Ultimately it gives you a little more parking flexibility compared to conventional large SUVs.

I just turned 28 years old this month, I bought mine last month. A 2017 model X 100d for only 65k $ after tax . It’s possible.

@@RT-qz5ci i bought it around 5 months ago with 42k miles and it reached 49k yesterday took it to a trip to Wisconsin and back to Chicago. No regrets to be honest. I’m so glad I don’t have to deal with oil changes and all those fluids.. all you have to worry about is charging it.. like a phone 😆. You can also update the software with wifi. I did a full wrap because the one I bought wasn’t the color I wanted but was the best price. I wrapped it in balloon white pearl. With black wheels and all the chrome is gloss black
