SEAT Leon ST Cupra 300 2017 Review | Driver's Seat

This is the mid-life facelift of the SEAT’s flagship performance car, the Leon Cupra, which is available as a three-door SC, five-door hatchback or five-door ST (estate).
There have been two major issues for the SEAT Leon Cupra. The first is the presence of the VW Golf R and second that the current car can’t cope with all its power being sent to the front wheels.
Well, the playing field has now been levelled as the Cupra ST with a DSG gearbox now gets the four-wheel drive as standard.
The 2017 updates also include a new bumper design at the front with tweaked front headlights and rear taillights.
Inside there’s a new 8.0in (from 6.5in) infotainment touchscreen with fewer buttons to clean up its appearance as well as an electronic handbrake.
Prices start from £30,155 and rise to £34,485 for this range topping version.

the car doesn't have any problem with being fwd and is much cheaper than the golf and much better looking so the better choise also it's now faster than it

Frustrating, agreed, 4WD would be my preference. However plenty of other reviewers trying the manual 2WD are enjoying it hugely. I love a manual gearbox for driver involvement and must try one of these. Seem reasonable value as a used car in 2020. Having to pay a little more attention in the wet, not just pressing the fast pedal and sitting there letting the car do all the work, isn't necessarily all bad. For a petrolhead.

It's a pity that You review a Cupra like it would be a Prius or something. You just say identical things as other reviewers say, nothing new. You say about the grip and the acceleration and I didn't even see You testing it. I have no basis to believe You.
