I visited E type UK a few year's ago A customer of there's was having a 61 roadster rebuilt by them the engine was fully rebuilt detailed looking fabulous & they were ready to fit it, I had a 3.8 jaguar engine 1961 the date stamp on my engine was closer to the date stamp On the engine that he'd had rebuilt So he bought my engine & they were going to rebuild it for his E type
