Kinda surprised to see a VT365 in such a hilly area, I'd rather have a T444E or DT466 for more low end torque, but the VT365 is good for flat terrain.

Well First Student is a pretty cheap company. Us drivers aren't asking for chrome packages or anything. All we want is a little more power. Plus I love the sound of a DT466 and maybe air ride suspension.

Fun Fest bowling alley, where the PBA held a tournament back in 97!!! (5:54) ...... Good thing your bus has air brakes with all those steep PA hills!!!! (9:00-9:40)-WOW!!!!! How well do your VT365's hold up generally under such a load?

Haha good catch on the Fun Fest. These older buses with the VT365 definitely get their workout in the area that I drive in but she still ran smooth. We are in the process of switching from the IC's to Thomas C2's. Hopefully they will order them with engine brakes. I'm currently driving a 2007 IC FE 300 with the DT466 and I love it. I've been meaning to post vids but I don't know where to mount the camera.

Yeah lol my 2006 ic ce short body where I lived there is a huge hill it had to get up and it broke the bus. Rip bus 800!

I thought your lot looked familiar, that's Fox Chapel, i was out there 2 weeks ago training someone. recognized the serpentine line and the numbers on yall buses... How is to working out there?

I'm not working there anymore but it was nice out there. The kids were good and the staff was nice. They should've had better buses though. Especially with them servicing such a rich district.

BrandonPryorMusic they wont its unsafe but the state runs it they just put a 15 year old bus out of service and we need are bus replaced they need to decide who runs it

What the difference between the 200 and the 300 (sorry i know thomas buses)

Different engine sizes. The 200 models come with the International VT365 while the 300s come with a nice and powerful DT466.
