It is not only about tuning the engine, there are other factors also which help reduce the vibrations like engine mounts, body joints, insulation etc.. Tata will take time to reach Maruti standards and is on the way.

@@allno2849 No bro. Nexon petrol exactly has similar nature as described in this video. Same kind of vibrations when starting the engine or ac compressor. Once you move to 2nd or 3rd gear it will feel very smooth and it will perform like a 4 cylinder after crossing 1500 to 2000 rpm. But, Maruti will be refined due to it's light weight body and it has to pull less weight overall.

Most disappointing engines are from Maruti. Even their 4 cylinder 1.5 ltrs engine is failed to reach beyond 80. @@gunkain I am talking about city not highways. Maruti fanboys claims 20 kmpl mileage in city. at speeds of 80 kmph on highways even my Mahindra KUV 100 used to give 18 kmpl mileage with such a heavy body and a very unoptimized engine.
