Hi from Japan. Maggie really loves running in the fields, doesn't she? Great farm dog! Glad you had Tom to help with the pro gear. Cheers.

Really enjoying the farm videos....much prefer watching to doing 🤣🤣 Been around -7 to -8 up in Cumbria snow too. At least the disinfectant bottles aren't freezing out in the sheds yet ...😊

That Ford really would benefit from an LED light bar on the front, or even a pillar mounted swivel type to be useful all the way around.
@jamest514911 ай бұрын
You could do with a headlamp bulb upgrade and a LED light bar on the pickup

Rather than mauling them big posts around so you can ride about in the pickup, just stick a buckrake on behind a light tractor and drop them off where you want them.and you won't get stuck..! Simples 😊

Your videos are great Tom. don't know how you get everything done. can you hit rock when putting the posts in ?
@diyfarm11 ай бұрын
There is a rock spike you can swing round and pilot/break a hole first although not had issues with our soft sandstone and these hardwood posts.
@jamest514911 ай бұрын
And some prover all terrain mud tyres would help stop you getting stuck.

I really enjoyed this. Looks like you might benefit from some really knobbly tyres or a winch on the pickup. Pro equipment really is so much faster. Your girls will all love you for preserving the picnic willow tree area. Memories they'll cherish forever.

Out of interested why are you fencing the hedges that are already established? Love both channels keep up the good work 👍👍
@diyfarm11 ай бұрын
The livestock just eat them back to the point it’s all gaps. Therefore lots of new hedge plants to fill old spaces.

What make is that jacket your wearing please? It looks hard-wearing.
@diyfarm11 ай бұрын
An old Barbour wax jacket. Had it for over 20 years and still going strong. 💪

You really need to invest in some mud terrain Tyers before you crash into something on the hill sliding off the path

I know it was early but why are you whispering at the beginning of the video? 😅
@diyfarm11 ай бұрын
Because as soon as the goats here me they scream for breakfast so quiet voices and gate closing needed. 😂
