@@adribabi40 hi, I am curious about Sheboygan, is it a good place to live? Thanks in advance

Hey! Yes it is I was born there, it has everything you need, plenty of resources, the only thing is it has gotten much more expensive but they also pay more as well@@marcolino5269

@@marcolino5269 I grew up in Sheboygan my whole life and still am in Sheboygan, It's a very lovely and safe city, the community is very nice. There isn't a whole lot to do in Sheboygan but it's the involvement from the community that makes the city a great place to live in.

Yes it was! Sheboygan was absolutely fabulous, on the short list of cities where I'd be glad to move to in a heartbeat. When you're right up next to it, Lake Michigan might as well be the ocean.

I would love to live there too. But the minute that a home goes up for sale in Sheboygan or Fox Valley, it already has an "Active Offer No Bump" status. I don't know if there is a team of investors sweeping in to grab homes before the general public does. It almost seems like you have to park outside a property overnight and be the first people there when the "for sale sign" goes in the yard.

Yes, many large investment funds are purchasing family homes all across America. They are doing this to protect against inflation. It started during the money printing bonanza during the corona shutdowns. The investment funds understand that our currency is quickly becoming worthless and that nice homes and good property will maintain their value better than the US dollar.

@exploreusacities I am glad that I am not wrong in thinking this. HUD should limit the number of houses a person or entity can own, and give folks who earn less a priority for purchasing properties in the price range that they can afford over people who can afford to pay more and have more choices of homes available to them.

Not necessarily a bad thing, born raised and now back after 30 years. Seeing it from a different perspective now, so much untapped potential in Sheboygan. Let's not let the secret out.

@@frankv7774grew up here and moved away. Kinda hated it as a kid. Nothin to do except drink and get in trouble. Fast forward a few years (like 25) and I bring my wife, who grew up in the middle of Chicago and she loves it! Her family does too! You see the things differently as an adult.
