Charleston is a beautiful old community with lots of history in the area! The first President of EIU was Livingston Lord, the Early students said "The Lord watches over us!" Daily religious services with attendance required in the early yearscfrom 1899.

Old Main the first building for EIU in 1899. My Alma Mater 1972 👍 Enjoyed my time there very much! Lots of memories while watching this video 😀
