Well, I guess turning a chunk of a country club's golf course into residential is a great way to get a hideous bougie-looking neighborhood fresh out of "The Back Rooms." Honestly looked better when it was a golf course.

No.. much of the city is run down and crime ridden. However Mobile has a decent downtown. If you have the money try one of the close by suburbs.

Definitely not. Stick to surrounding areas - Fairhope, Daphne, Spanish Fort, Saraland, Orange Beach….stay away from the city. I’m almost 50 years old, & watching Mobile’s slow decline over the past several years is so sad. I love my hometown, but I wouldn’t move back.

Like every other city in America, the predominantly white areas are fine. The non predominantly white areas, typical violent hood.
