Wait hold up? If you are a bus driver and you get a speeding ticket, you must pay for it yourself. FTA (Federal transit administration) laws state bus drivers must be able to afford it as per their license agreement and DMV commercial driver codes. It’s also a point on our driving record. I know because I was a former trolleybus driver
