In my market, GH payouts are way higher than any other app. Lots of double digit payouts, no WalMart orders, and most importantly, no $3.00 offers. A lot of drivers don't like GH because they don't show mileage, but if you know your region, it's easy to tell if an offer is worth the payout.

K about stacked orders , drove for a little over an hour Sunday Lunch had a 2 Merch stack order 1st order paid $12 , but the 2nd was located in the Food Court of a jammed shopping mall , my solution I canceled the mall merch. As for nice Stacks drove Sunday Dinner , for about 3.5 hrs after my 1st order of $19 , had 2 stacks in a row the 1st paying $32 followed by a stack paying $27 , the Eve paying out $140. As for order selection , we had a $3 peak till 9pm and I started at 6pm , because it was busy I only took orders $13+ thrue 9pm excluding my last in this window of $12 , I also refused all Grocery deliveries during the dinner rush.

The one positive is that the food is always as fresh as possible and I like to forward that in my message to the customer while explaining that I'm waiting on their order. Hack-much?

I got a triple stack today. Of course 2 was on one app and the 3rd was on a different app. Showed up and got an add on in the parking lot and then the other app offered an order immediately after. All 3 orders where ready when I walked in.

Wendy's is bad in N.Y.C. too. I don't take orders from them as well as Jerk Chicken. For McDonald's or any Jamaican restaurant other that Jerk chicken it has to be above $15 per one order to take it.

In my market, Grubhub is the best money, then I run UE and DD concurrently. I take orders on all if they map similarly. You really have to know your delivery market. It’s a split second decision really. You also have to know what restaurants are slow and which have things ready.

Walmart grocery orders can yield up to $15 tips well after the fact (the following week sometimes). Can be worth the trouble as long as it goes to a single family residence.

Also, I was big on Doordash when I started a few months ago, but GrubHub is paying a lot more now in my area of Atlanta, GA suburbs. Doordash is more dominant and I think they use that as leverage, but UberEats does really well, and GrubHub is picking up popularity as well. The past few weeks I've primarily been doing 80% more GrubHub and UberEats compared to my 80% normally on Doordash. The Doordash pay I feel has been going down.

in my marketplace, base pay is 6$ flat, that was until they publicly traded, they have been working on cutting drivers pays, now on stacked orders base pay is 3$ for added deliveries.

In my market, DD will keep you way busier, but GH pays a lot more per order. I can do 2 orders per hour on GH, and average $20 - $25 per hour for the week. I could make the same money with DD, but I'd have to do a lot more volume, and work a lot harder to do it.

@@avshockey6633 Yeah, same. I've also noticed certian times one or two apps will be busier over the others in my area. For example, Sunday + Friday Mornings DD can be great for groceries, other weekday mornings it's Uber and GH for breakfast.

Had a great double stack doordash order at Buffalo Wild Wings Saturday and the second order was ready in about 2 minutes. Both addresses were close together also. I was so glad because I had an instacart order waiting for me to go start and I didn't want to lose it.

I did a CVS order last month. It actually went pretty smoothly; the app actually shows pictures of the items the customer ordered. You check each item off after you pick it up, then pay for them with the red card. Luckily, employees at that particular store were helpful, although YMMV...

(DFW) I usually just head toward a hotspot and get one enroute. I deem it bad form to park RIGHT AT the Hotspot eatery as mgmt can construe it as denying customers parking; fewer eyes on you, the less trouble you have.

We had that quest here for a month or so, I would never receive 60 offers and I have 100 percent acceptance and zero cancels. New boost bonus now. Now instead of 2.50 for delivery it's 1.90 plus .3 boost so it comes out to two fifty. You can't make this stuff up.

On GH its only a "stacked order" when it says Add-On. Those order that you were getting all essentially position orders as they tend to be pickups in an area you just dropped off (especailly if you get them after you just picked up for the order you are currently on). I like picking those up as I know they tend be not far away from were i just dropped off.

i multi app and do multiple delivery's for multiple stores on multiple apps at the same time. Once got 4 orders all going into the same neighborhood ( one uber stack one dd stack) made 65$ that hour it took me, only 5 miles too. And im in CA so i get the 18$/active time hour wage gaurentee so was really more than that since tips dont count. This method i do is also problematic because sometimes the deliveres arent as close as the app made it seem so im late sometimes.

Popeyes is always extremely slow, both walk in and drive thru. But somehow they are even slower as a walk in vs drive thru. They don't start getting the order ready until you are at the window or cashier. Same with Five Guys. Then apparently they have to source and kill the chickens while you are there waiting...

Yeah you got to also take into consideration how much gas and how many miles you drive within that 3 hours. There have been times where I've driven 100 plus miles in just a short time. And at the price of gas right now at almost $3 a gallon it really doesn't equal out to 20 something dollars an hour. Uber is paying less and less it seems like too.

Depending on the Popeyes, they can be pretty bad. There's one where they closed the dining room, so you have to wait 20 minutes in the drive thru, then wait another 20 in the parking lot, no thanks. Between Popeyes and Five Guys, I don't go unless it's really a good order and at a decent location. Some are better, some are worse.

As far as Popeyes in Dayton Ohio area, its hit or miss. If I can go into the lobby its a big hit! Never wait more than 5 mins or so. If the lobby is closed because of the time of night or due to staff shortage, its a big unassign as soon as I find out and then a decline the rest of the night.

Atlanta Metro here and its the exact opposite. Somehow its slower in the restaurant than drive thru and usually the drive thru is wrapped around the building, so you can imagine what its like inside. My Popeyes minimum is $11 and the miles ratio minimum is 2:1 $:mile and I'll refuse any order there between 5-9 pm.

I was hoping you'd show how to multi app simultaneously. Hardly anyone shows that. I do that, in a staggered way. Involves high level of knowing your market, choosing wisely which orders to take and prioritize, and some luck. Stressful if you don't stagger it but also very low levels of lagged time.

Popeye's in every part of my market has issues. Either they're understaffed, they take forever, or the Manager, at least at one location will try to pull Jedi Mind Tricks on you and become a Time Thief. Her employee will go out and yell at drivers for sitting in pickup locations, then advise the driver to wait in the 1-hour line for the drive-thru. When you get to the pickup window This Manager will say "I never told my employee to do that! Go back and wait in the Pick Up Spot!" I really wish these American Delivery companies did what their Canadian counterpart did. Skip The Dishes would charge restaurants up to a $10 Driver Retainer Fee for making the driver wait for unreasonable situations like this. Of course, that money would ultimately go to the driver's pay. At least, back when Skip operated in Cleveland, OH, they really kept restaurants on their toes. They made sure they got their orders out quickly, and this was all pre-COVID.

Eddy Cervantea smart thing to do is get a paid for car that is reliable, or very low payments, and you won't mind all of the wear and tear on your vehicle that you be doing. Trust me...when doing these apps, the most important thing is to make money and *save money* in every way, while doing it. If you do get the Mustang, I sure as heck would not use it for thes apps (lol).

Honestly these days delivery drivers just seem greedy. I miss the days where if you tipped one or two bucks they were happy. And these days being a delivery driver is easier than ever before. You don't even have to get out of your car in most cases. I meet them right at the car. You're not getting more than a couple bucks to hand me something LOL. Especially when the delivery companies do pay you. You're not doing it for free.
