@@America-ev4rk Although yesterday wasn't so good for me, I disagree. I work primarily in Frisco as well and make $22/hr overall. Great areas for me are the Main/Dallas North Intersection for weekday lunch and dinner shifts, and then on Sat/Sun, I work at the 121/Dallas North Intersection for the breakfast and dinner shifts.

I do it in Tampa, I do 3-5 deliveries per hour. I do around $40-45/hr. Granite I am only doing it from 12-2pm and 5-10pm because I live downtown and able to run home in 5 minutes during the slow times. It's a lot more work do the morning rush and the lunch rush is good because I can make $80 in 2 hours and able to go home to eat and do homework. Then i'm ready to go back online for the dinner the dinner rush/late-night craving. I like to break it up with a few hours in between because it gives you a good chunk of the normal day

I been start to deliver back in Oct PT, My stagey now is I only take drivers the are $5+ , if I do take a$3 to $4 one it has to be only a block or two way from the restaurant under 5 mins. I also only deliver to the city I am working in or the two adjacent cities I know the are. one of my first mistakes was looking at the drop off point on the map and not the city the drop off is in. what look like only look like 4 or 5 blocks away would turn out to be a 20+ mins, three cities over for $7, the map is so zoomed out it is misleading. What I have seen is when I get two or three low ball order $2.50 or $3.00 come in, if I am patience and not take them I will get a 7 or 10 order a few minuets later, patience is the game. Example I have turn down a $10 order from a restaurant where the drop off was two cities over, about a 20+ mins drive away. within 30 seconds of not taking that order I got an order for $12 from the same restaurant that was just a few block down the road.

Positive here in AZ Phoenix area with Uber. For doing 40 rides or food delivery you get $90 bonus for 10 more rides you get another $90 bonus. So that had to be done from Fri-Sun then they got a 2 consecutive rides deal in a certain area and they're paying $9.50-12.00 bonus on top of the 40 or 50 ride goal. So last weekend I working hard core starting Friday night and completed my 50 rides and finished on Sunday with $750.11 and was online 23 hrs and 19 min. POSITIVE!! On another weekend I was hitting mad bonuses and promotions and got $921 doing only 50 rides on a weekend POSITIVE!!! Right place right time more money. Let's go!!!

Live in Pittsburgh PA also. Earned just about $1300 last week in 40hrs with UE. Judging from the comments guess its dependent on area. But planning out best times of day to drive make a huge difference.

Hey huge fan here I’m from beaver falls pa so I know where your at Matt lol but I live now close to Youngstown Ohio and do all my driving in Youngstown or Boardman Ohio market lol between Uber eats or doordash my only question is to you I never seen any type of surge on Uber eats and I’m about 3 weeks in driving now part time but yeah I have never see any surge I’m not sure if it even happens for my market even on Friday and Saturday nights there isn’t a surge on Uber - door dash does have its little peak pay but only at

I have to drive so far for my boot zone, my city is Raleigh, NC. I rather just stay in my city area and get deliveries, but about 50% people living here don’t tip. 🤷🏻‍♀️ North Carolina is very tough on UberEats driver.

The problem I have with your complete earnings breakdown is you don't take into consideration gas, daily insurance cost, and daily payment if you have one. This is a business you are running and when you don't take into consideration those other fixed costs those numbers seem great but you don't show the costs associated with earnings.

Which is why miles matter , knowing if the merchant only starts orders when a driver arrives matters , knowing where to get gas at a good price matters , and knowing where merchants are located matters

@@C7SuperFly yean and the self emoloyment tax is 15% plus federal tax 10%-20% and state taxes 3%. Stsndard deduction is 12,000 and you can get a milage deduction. But overall its not worth it. Your basically a slave to uber. They shouod be paying their fair shaor of the taxes. So 20$/hr is more like 10$/hr

All those things are individual based but overall everyone has fixed costs such as gas, insurance, car payment, phone bill, etc. The daily amount for every single one of those should be added to the hourly rate. I think Uber should do more promotions to be honest. The surges/boost are not worth it and tips are what really makes you feel rewarded in this gig economy.

Don’t worry about appetence rating, only keep completion rate high .my acceptance rating fluctuates between 15 and 30 percent

I had a order from Arby’s that was for $7. The customer texted me saying if I got some extra sauce he would tip an extra $5. I got the sauce and he tipped the extra $5. Leave it at the door order also.

As soon as you notice the app glitching start taking screen shots of everything that you can and message support. They usually reimburse for in-progress orders during outages

Uber eats is garbage in my city (Houston). Im a veteran driver and all my go to hot spots have dried up. The frequency of orders has REALLY died down! 100.00 days are a thing of the past. Its so slow i had to go in to forbearance with my mortgage company. The orders uber loves to send me are low paying far distance. Terrible right now if you try to do this full time.
