next week looks cold for Crete ,,, Heraklion between 15 and 16 in the shade ,, cloudy with small drizzles of rain.. I am going to Crete on te 13. of may.. hope to see temps around 23 degrees..

Random question but in your opinion is driving in Crete tough for foreigners? I'm from the UK and have been driving for almost 10 years but have never driven in another country. I've read that this place is a nightmare to drive in on the internet but I'd love to get a car when I come here.

Very good idea. If BOAK (for Greek ''Northern Crete Road Axis'') is ever finished (in ...10+ years...) it should be named ''Zameer Pactyan Northern crete road axis''...

I just returned home from Crete last night. We had 7 wonderful days in Heraklion, Chania, and Balion beach, so I drove this route several times last week. We loved our first visit to your beautiful island!
