Watching this video brings back fond memories of when I lived in Rotterdam in 1992 when I was in the U.S Army and went to Keukenhof in Lisse and also had the fortune of attending the 1992 FLORIADE exposition held in Zoetemeer that year, which only happens every 10 years.

those ditches along the sides of the road has got to be some of the widest ditches I've ever seen, would instead believe they are canals. Outside of that, the drive has some of the best scenery I've ever seen in a very long time; it has better scenery than what Canada has per mile. Very enjoyable drive; thanks.

What is so remarkable about this drive is that their is no litter anywhere along the route. I get the impression that the people who live there are conscious of the problem and are vigorous recyclers. Very photogenic drive, I wish the US could do just half as good. The streets are immaculate and the banks of the canals are barren of weeds and other obstructions. Also I see that they also like to use bicycles and there are lanes for that. Super

You took some nice secondary roads in the beautiful area south of Amsterdam, to reach one of the most known tourist site of the country, Keukenhof.
