Driving on the H3 after a heavy rain is so beautiful. There’s so many cascading waterfalls when it rains.

It was cool to see the tunnel and different mountain ranges. 😍 The spectacular sceneries made this drive through traffic more enjoyable. 😃 Glad you found free parking at the end! 👍 Thank you for sharing this scenic drive, AK! 🤗

So true! It’s surprising to many that there’s traffic in Hawaii.

Traffic starts around 2:30pm. Many 6am shifts getting off around that time.

Damn looks like Austin tx in some spots. Didn’t expect it to look so normal to what I’m used to. Ps i have only left Texas once and it was 3 years ago to Wisconsin

I heard this tunnel during its construction ended up removing some historical religious places of the natives. Hence most natives don't use this road because of 'superstitions'. Sounded interesting to me.

Yup a lot of burial sites, and a lot of the accidents happens in the tunnel. Coincidence?

@@TheShonuff888 probably....saw a broken down vehicle in this video near the bigger tunnel

I heard it’s a controversial highway and many believe it to be haunted
