Driving in Belize - Steadfast to Placencia - Gopro 2

Driving in Belize from Steadfast to Placencia down the Southern Highway.. this is a great road to drive and many attractions along the way, the scenery is great I have had to edit bits out but this is the most interesting pieces ..Belize is a great country to visit it has so much to offer the adventurous traveller, we will be headed back down to do it all again soon .. we love it so much

Many thanks for the video. I became so home sick just watching it, makes me want to just pack up, leave Chicago and move back home. Am from the South, from Dangriga really, but haven't been to Point Placencia in about 25 yrs. Had you blindfolded me and dropped me off anywhere in Seine Bight, I would not have had a clue where I was. Wow!....Oh. My. Goodness!!

Belizean Johnny Cakes are exactly the same thing as a Breakfast Biscuit or " Country Biscuit " here in the U.S. . Some peoples' hand are heavy with the salt . Johnny Cakes are from the old British Colonial days. Great video and thanks for sharing it.

Really nice video editing with the maps showing your location. Have never heard of the Hummingbird Hwy but looks like quite a trip minus the heat. Those were some interesting speed bumps. lol...you drive right past the end of the runway...cool.

no that is funny we dont have but, we would like to, but being a canadian seems to be a good thing there they like us .. well that is why we go in Feb for as long as we can .. thanks for the comments

thanks I made all the graphics myself, and the Hummingbird is such a great road through the mountains..and yeah the heat got oppressive even for the locals ..and other runways in this country are still grass so this is a major step up ..

we try to go for 3 or 4 weeks, the wife still works I am retired and its tough just not staying there semi permanently..but at this point we still come home
