It's funny that CENTRAL LONDON is thought by so many to be harder to drive in than other parts of London. This is totally the opposite, it's the easiest place to drive, most of the roads are of a good quality, signs are usually clear, most roads are 20mph so it's never that fast... I drive mostly in EAST LONDON and this is much tougher with some crazy drivers who rent sport cars and think the road belongs to them...

bullcrap. I dare you to drive down Park Lane on a Sunday and say that again with a straight face LOooooooooooooooooooool. Yes there are probably harder places, but the idea it is "easy" is ridiculous. Edit: I wrote the above before reading that you drive in East London, yes in that one instance you are probably in one of the worst parts of London for driving.

16:07 when parking a car in the mid spot, it is exposed from both sides to another driver who may clip it during their parking maneuver. Because of that I prefer parking beside the wall/pillar/etc. If Lovejit was concerned his passengers would scratch his new door during exiting, he could have asked them to exit moments before the parking maneuver. PS Seeing Aman anxious is a rare occurrence. It was funny to watch, I'm not gonna lie. 😆

Same! I would always opt for an end bay, as far away from other drivers as possible, but as the car park was empty it didn’t matter :) Having no control on the passenger side in central with other road users being silly… was not easy to cope with 😅

Nothing wrong with going halfway. Technically not meant to, but at times if you don't occasionally force a gap in stop start traffic you ain't getting out of the junction. The main thing is to be aware of what's happening and adjust to it. You can't stick rigidly to the rules
@ClearviewDriving Жыл бұрын
Hey yeah I get that, he moved out slightly at first which was fine, but the car on the main road wasn’t waiting so we should have waited for a confirmation that they will wait It was only a serious fault as the driver had to swerve us
@wrightwoodwork Жыл бұрын
@ClearviewDriving yeah confirmation is key. Its learning when to push the situation but not make it dangerous and be ready to give up space. A lot of this you learn after passing your test. You remind me of my instructor which is a long time ago. I'm thinking you should bring Erin somewhere like that with the narrow streets but not in heavy traffic. My thinking is mirrors and and that much going on it will make her use mirrors more as she will be trying to get every bit of information. Obviously not In peak traffic

They have put 20mphs all over London. Even on some major roads. It is frustrating they do this. I have read about people getting fined for doing 22mph. In busy city centre location, you need to focus on the road, the 20mph speed limit forces people to keep looking at their speedometer. They even put no pedestrian zone sign in unsuspecting places, but it is designed to catch people out and fines.

Supposed to let pedestrians cross at junctions which he didn’t surprised you didn’t warn him about that new rule. Handling that car that pulled slightly out, honking the horn is not handling the situation well as you said because that could cause a confrontation which you don’t know the mentality of the other person, ignore it stay calm and carry on. Hi, totally irrelevant but average speed check cameras and road works speed limit. Do SPECS camera alter speeds to suit roadworks? Or are they permanently set to road type. On a dual carriageway with a centre reservation, is 70mph. But a portion of that is under a 40mph speed limit for road works. If there were no workers, if someone was to drive over the 40 limit, let's say 50mph (on speedo) going through the first camera check point, would a NIP be sent? Even if the person is travelling and goes through a national speed limit sign before the second camera. Which cameras actually record you? Two back facing ones, or the two facing ones or one of each? (SPECS - Average Speed Camera) An online speed camera map says the cameras are 70mph)
