Driving in Germany: Autobahn A99 E45 E52 München Ring Nord

In this video you can drive along on Autobahn A99 E45 & E52 from AK München-Ost to the A8 in the direction of Augsburg. This is the official ring road of Munich which bypasses the city on the North and Eastern sides. The A99 in some parts has 4 lanes and is the city's main bypass. It's over 30 kilometers long and bypasses Munich by quite a distance, connecting many surrounding Autobahns in the process (A8, A92, A9, A94, A95, A96 and A995).
It's unsure if a Southern A99 (completing the circle) will ever be completed. There has been a lot of resistance against the proposals, especially from an environmental perspective. A Southern connection and full bypass of the city would theoretically be quicker for through traffic coming from the West (A8) in the direction of Austria (Salzburg).

BAB 99 sure is a cool partial beltway around Munich, but I have a feeling that I don't think there are plans to make it a complete beltway.

@@RoadsOfAsiaBen, that expressway is almost done and it connects the national capital area and the financial capital area of India. This humongous stretch of expressway in India is very marvellous and I've never heard of that before.

There were proposals for a South section of the A99 to make it a full ringroad. But it runs through a nature reserve and Isar valley and even the proposed tunnel was rejected. So no prospects for the near future.

Even though the A95 will get quicker transit, but the main issue is the removal of all overground express road around Munich and Grunewald. Assume you are using a 2*3 + rush hour lane format throughout the beltway.
