If you’re British, driving there feels just exactly the same as driving back home, and every road sign is exactly the same as in U.K. Just keep out of Central, Wanchai and Causeway Bay streets with your car. Unless you love getting stuck.

I think it would be a much funner drive if you drove in the New Territories which is less crowded (like some nice curvy roads up in Tai Mo Shan or even Sai Kung)

2:30 Those are the old parking meters. They are installing new ones which can be controlled through an app!

the most annoying thing is their collision damage waver what you mentioned at the end of them freezing $2500USD on your credit card, its a preauthorisation they hold until you return the car undamaged.

A car would be great for getting to hiking start points. Sure, you can get there with MTR and mini buses but it can take up to two hours vs up to 35 min in a car. Or, just set up camp in Sai Kung. A lot of great hiking in that area.

Your video is marvellous, but sad to say, the city is a nightmare nowadays, visited there last year during the unrest, it's sickening to witness their violence.
