That was a beautiful one hour ride from Zomba to Blantyre. I enjoyed it all. Thanks for uploading, brought back great memories. The state of the road not too bad..

Ovi Cornea, l do not think that l have the rightful words to express how l am feeling right now. I am a child of Malawi, did all my primary, secondary and college schooling in Malawi. I then travelled to Durban and Zululand,moved to Johannesburg and Pretoria, spending 7 years in South Africa.ln 2004,l relocated to the UK,and l have travelled to numerous EU countries. Even though l make regular visits to Malawi,you can notice that I have been away from the warm heart of Africa for over 20years. I am not here to elaborate my biography, but rather reveal what has just happened to me while watching your video. It is like,l have been dead,and l just been resurrected. Looking at the scattered hills and rolling mountains, the blue skies, and the natural beauty of the country,l realised that l have been running away from my own shadow for many years,in pursuit of an illusion or "make-believe" better life,and foreign currencies. I came to be spiritually awakened,and agreed that living close to nature,or with nature,or in nature, heals one's soul. It has ever been on the multitude of people's mouths,that Malawi is the warm heart of Africa,and all these years,l never came to realise the deep and profound meaning of that phrase,until now,while watching your video. Listening to the provocative and yet enchanting music in the background while looking at the picturesque Malawi in your video,it is such a tranquil and peaceful feeling that stimulates one's mind, while soothing one's soul. It is a healing process,that transfered me to a certain place where the problems of the world does not exist. It is such a peaceful feeling that has brought about a lot of fond and nostalgic memories of my beloved country Malawi, comforted me and left me enthused. I cannot exactly pinpoint on what l am being comforted of however,but great peace has prevailed in my heart while watching the video. Indeed," Ndiwokoma Malawi". If only all of us,her children in diaspora,and those still living in Malawi come to realise this,begin to appreciate her,be proud of her and strive to contribute positively and efficiently to her welfare,be proud of our cultural values,traditions and heritage,l wonder what a great and wonderful country Malawi would have been. The revelation l have gained today is that anything man-made, like great cities l have been running from Malawi to,does not give you the feeling that would make one appreciate God,as it is made by a hand of man. If one really wants to see how creative and great God is, come to Malawi,where you are close to nature,where you get vistas of gorgeous mountains and valleys,the mighty Lake Malawi,feel and lead a simple and stress free life.lt is sheer natural beauty at its best, and nothing short of breath taking. Wow! The exquisite land of Malawi. The splendor of Africa. Thank you ever so much for sharing that great video.

@@tazimtayub1817 thank you ever so much for your message,and my apologies for not coming back to you sooner. I only saw this today( 1 January,2019). Happy New Year to You by the way.l trust that you have had a great ending to 2018,and a good start to the year 2019. Responding to your question. Tazim, l was only in Zomba between 1991 and 1994 while schooling at Police Secondary school. It was such a beautiful place,and the Police College where our school was used to be very regal and full of discipline. Our teachers were Police Officers,so you can understand how orderly things and all the students were.l came to realise why the colonial rulers chose Zomba for a capital of Nyasaland. It is picturesque unlike Lilongwe. We would have had a beautiful city,which one would see from miles away, with a beautiful mountain in the background, overlooking the Lake Chilwa. It is similar to Cape Town when you come to think of it. Zomba and sorrounding areas could make a great city,as it has natural beauty.
