I spent 10 days in Ajijic, Jalisco on Lake Chapala and Saturdays were what I called Chicken and corn tortilla day...the whole town smelled like roast chicken. A lady in front on the street pulled her cooker out and made about 50 of them and they were all gone as soon as they are ready...best roast chicken ever and the corn tortillas are just divine. I found the same kind at a store, El Burrito in St. Paul, Minnesota...if you are ever in that area check it out, It is a market and diner too with street corn. I am on the hunt always for corn tortillas, soft and pillowy.
@EatSeeRV4 жыл бұрын

Every time I go to Mexico I poop like a baby: the food is just so good, more natural, and is so easy to eat good stuff. The grapes taste like grapes, not like candy, and the tortillas are amazing as well as the meat. Mexico so far has no monopolies over meat production, that's why it is still more natural.

Wow, beautiful scenery! Great job! You must have planned this trip for months. There’s no rattling in your RV. Our class c rattles like crazy...gotta work on that this spring. It’s ew to us.

If you listen hard enough you can here stuff shaking around! It's not awful but it's still noisy. We definitely spent a lot of time planning our route before we left Florida. I'm glad we did too, because it's difficult to wing it in Mexico! Good luck taming the rattles this spring! - Dennis ✌️

what would you advise for a truck pulling a 25' trailer? Is mexico an option with this setup? Or should I leave my RV in the states and come in with the truck (maybe pu one of those top tents on it, and bring my adventure bike along)?

Do you have a surge protector? Doesn't sound like it. Research a "hot skin" on an RV. Be safe!
@EatSeeRV4 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately a surge protector won't keep hot skin shocks from occuring when there is no earth ground at the shore power source. Down here in Mexico we've noticed that nothing is wired with a ground at the plug/pedestal. The Newstate Nomads actually do carry a Hughes Autoformer surge protector and still had a hot skin shock happen. We're doing our best to stay safe. Thanks for the well wishes! - Dennis ⚡
@markw66024 жыл бұрын
Yes it will. My progressive dynamics sp will not allow electricity in to the coach when there is no ground. I have used it for years on several coach’s and have had many rv pedestals exposed for faulty grounds. You guys are a shit show waiting to happen. Obviously you didn’t do much pre planning and are an accident waiting....
@markw66024 жыл бұрын
We have traveled extensively in Mexico, when the electricity is sketchy.... don’t use it. That’s what a good solar/battery bank is for.
@EatSeeRV4 жыл бұрын
Don't use the electricity in Mexico... got it.
@markw66024 жыл бұрын
I didn’t say “don’t use” across the board, only when sketchy and if you value anything with a circuit board in it....get a quality surge protector that will alert you to abnormalities and protect you computers, frig, wh, etc.
