I love seeing the mentality transformation you guys went thru on this video. From some desperation to total enjoyment. That's how Mexico is. A piece of advice to everyone: Don't ever compare how things are in the US to other countries when you travel. Embrace the culture and the differences. If you take out that comparison mentality you will have a blast!

Es parte de viajar a Mexico, como cualquier otro lugar en el mundo. Una vez un pintor surrealista muy famoso llamado Salvador Dalí (Español) dijo sobre Mexico: "De ninguna manera volveré a México; no soporto estar en un país más surrealista que mis pinturas". Nosotros lo tomamos como un halago porque nuestro pais es el ejemplo claro del mundo surrealista, incluso lo que no te puedes imaginar, lo podemos ver en este país". Saludos y gracias por sus videos.

Beautiful video. I just wanted to contribute that only non-Spanish speaking people add an E to TAMALE. The correct spelling and pronunciation in singular is TAMAL (tah-MAL), and its plural spelling and pronunciation is TAMALES (tha-MAH-less) You've got another subscriber.
@arthorim
@arthorim 3 жыл бұрын
Words in different languages are pronounced different. Tamal is a pronunciation from Spaniards the real word that we should pronounce would be tamalli which is the Nahuatl original word. So tomate = tomatl, chile= chilli , tortilla=tlaxcalli. So saying tamale isn't a mispronounced word is just how it sounds for English speakers.

Yes great idea. Although this was a food tour so we didn't pay for each meal as it was included in the tour price. But, we'll definitely try and share that in the future. Food here is extremely cheap! Tacos are around $15 - $20 pesos each. Tamales like the one in this video are around $20 pesos. Meals Ina restaurant run around $80 - $150 pesos per plate more if it's touristy or a nice restaurant.

Hey Tom we're stoked you're enjoying our Mexico travel videos! There are reverse osmosis purified water bottling shops on every corner like 711's. You can buy 5 gallons of purified water to refill a personal jug called a garrafon for 17 pesos, that's only $00.74 cents US. Berkeys are really nice and we used one in Florida to filter the nasty out of the tap water we were drinking! But, totally unnecessary in Mexico. - Dennis ✌️
