I travelled Perth in 2018 . It is a beautiful and peacefull city. I enjoyed there many places like clubs crown beaches suburbs and many country towns

Did you see Crown during Christmas?? It looks like the perfect circus place...families, children and grandparents shoulder to shoulder with hookers and studs. It's a very sweet landscape :) And some inches away lonely people doing some special Christmas gambling...that is really really heartwarming

It’s not huge the total metro region is a little over 2 million people. With small inner-Perth LGA’s. If you compared it to US cities in terms of population it would be considered a largish middle-city. I’m terms of physical size, it is very large and spread out, with the vast majority of housing being single story. Australia overall has very small cities with our largest cities, Sydney and Melbourne being middle of the line by global standards for what Americans and Europeans, and especially asians, consider large global cities.
