09:29 yes that road is definitely a 30mph limit road as at 08:30 there is a 30mph 20 zone ends road sign on the right hand side! 👍

Excellent video, man. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Your delivery is very engaging. I love the calm and methodical way you explain your thought processes. As someone whose job involves taking a couple of autistic gents for a spin every afternoon (including along some of North Wales' 20 mph roads, which has been quite an experience...), I only wish far more people would apply at least some of the principles you demonstrate. Thank you!

05:45 that’s a very strange odd place to have giveaway road markings, I bet a lot of people missed them! 🙃

Great video- super useful for meeting traffic situations as those seem to be a little bit more complex

Signal before checking mirros and blindspot immediately as the video starts?
@elitedriving99 Жыл бұрын
Signal was for the oncoming car in FRONT, I was glancing at the centre & left mirror also before signalling ( no oncoming vehicles ) but didn't mention it in the commentary, then checked them again including left blind spot as I drove off 👍 Thanks for highlighting the Mirror Signal Manouvre ( MSM ) routine 👍

27 38 You were a bit too close to the car in front when you stopped on an incline , couldn't see tyre and tarmac .
@elitedriving99 Жыл бұрын
From my view, the driver's view, I could see tyres and tarmac. The camera doesn't quite pick up that perspective unfortunately 😕 Thanks for your comment underlining the importance of keeping your distance from the car in front when stopped on an incline though 👍

@@elitedriving99 I only mentioned it because all the other clips when you stopped close to a vehicle in front we could clearly see tyre and tarmac and on an incline wouldn't it be safer to leave more space incase the vehicle rolls back ?
@elitedriving99 Жыл бұрын
No problem at all, just to reiterate I could see tyres and tarmac from my perspective, but the camera doesn't quite pick that up. It is indeed safer to leave more space on an incline, good point well made @mistycat1954 👍

@@elitedriving99 Why did the camera pick it up on earlier segments ?
@elitedriving99 Жыл бұрын
Other segments flatter terrain, incline gives a higher camera angle, camera mounted lower windscreen, driver's view eyeline higher.. simple really 👌 AGAIN to reiterate, tyres and tarmac visible from driver's view 👀👍
