Can you do more videos talking or demonstrating ADI part 3 thanks in advance

I could do… which elements are you most interested in?

Shams has some excellent fundamentals and it'll be a piece of cake to fix his mistakes. The car control, clearance, observations, signals, position, all of them are great.

Agreed!! 😊

A brilliant video, Im thinking about starting to become a PDI, and thought your manner in which you gave advice and constructive comments was excellent. Superb effort from Shams, he will make a great instructor with your help! Be good to have a lesson some day!

Thank you Sir!! Shams is on the literal and proverbial road to success! He’ll get there for sure! 😊

What an incredible video. Well done Shams, easy fix mistake. I have pretty much memorised the route as I have watched few videos on the channel. What I like about these videos is the reality unlike several videos I watched they have been recorded when roads are almost empty so there was no challenges at all.

It is quite frustrating that you can miss a speed limit sign and there will be very little indication what the speed limit on the rest of the route is. This is why I prefer the system some mainland countries have wherein the prohibitory sign zone is finished after you pass a junction. This means after you pass a junction the speed limit is back to standard, stopping and parking is allowed, weight limits are lifted and so on. Annoyingly there are still "speed limit zone" signs which are not cancelled by a junction, but by a respective "end of speed limit zone" sign.
@GetWheelDriving11 ай бұрын
Sounds like an interesting system. Over here we have the 30mph rule. 30 zones are the only speed limit zones that don’t have repeater signs. He could have picked up on that and he wouldn’t have made that mistake. But I agree it’s definitely not a perfect system. It could be improved!
@artemkatelnytskyi11 ай бұрын
@@GetWheelDriving I don't think it's a bad system per se, either. You just need to be extra aware to know what the speed limit is. Also, changing it would probably only cause more confusion and chaos. See pedestrian priority rule change in the Highway code and how it turned out with poor information/education campaign. Cheers for the excellent video. 😊

Just to let you know mate At the moment in examiner system doesn't allowed to put minor fault for eco driving.

Hi everyone, this is just a brilliant video, thanks, Does anybody know if Barnet Test Centre in North London uses the same route as this video for part 2? Thanks for any answers

6:40 😮 , "absolutely fine"?! Is much easier, way way easier, but for some reason the clasic method is used more when training. So we can use this one with no risk of being considered "cheating " or fault at test?!
@GetWheelDriving11 ай бұрын
Both methods are just fine. He arrived at the bays perpendicular to them so he can choose his method. The examiner is simply marking control and observation. Both were managed well in this instance.
@constantint959511 ай бұрын
19:00 just to get a confirmation, sometimes is not 100% clear, when turning right you have at all time right signal on even if you drift (change lanes) one by one to the left, and at the end change signal to left before exit ?
@GetWheelDriving11 ай бұрын
Every roundabout is different. As long as your signal is not misleading it should be applied. And just as you pass the exit the one before you need you should signal left yes.

30:10 speed, when is consider driving fault and when serious fault? Can 1-2 miles over the limit be considered driving fault? Or is serious at all times?
@GetWheelDriving11 ай бұрын
It all depends on the moment. Shams was braking the speed limit by 6mph and accelerating. That is a serious. If you’re speeding by 1 or 2mph but notice and bring it straight back down it might not even be marked. However sustain it or do it repeatedly this will be marked and could be just a driver or a serious fault depending on the circumstances.
@constantint959511 ай бұрын
37:20 I'm a bit confused, shouldn't eco safe driving be recorded only once? For the whole driving session, at the end, and it is a driving fault? Can be counted several times and transformed into serious? In my learning materials is mentionthat is recorded only once.
@GetWheelDriving11 ай бұрын
Yes on part 2 test eco safe driving is now listed as a fault…I’ve never seen it as a serious but then again I don’t often come across PDI’s that drive that uneconomically.
@constantint959511 ай бұрын
I cannot find it, but at some point was a zebra crossing, pedestrian came from the opposite side, and he stops, couldn't he pass? After all was a crossing divided by a island.
@GetWheelDriving11 ай бұрын
Everything depends on close contact to pedestrian- If the island is large and the pedestrian is far away then you should be able to proceed. The Highway Code stipulates that if a pedestrian is waiting to cross you SHOULD let them go and if they’re on the crossing you MUST. Driving is however very rarely black or white you must assess each individual situation

Did Shams pass his part 2 at the end?
@GetWheelDriving6 ай бұрын
As far as I’m aware he hast actually sat his part 2 yet🤷♂️
@DB-fi9yv9 ай бұрын
Would you agree that taking part 2 in an area you have never been/ drove the car before would lower your chances of passing ?
@GetWheelDriving9 ай бұрын
Having local knowledge is always a bonus. But technically if you focus on your core skills and bring your planning and awareness to a high level you should be able to pass anywhere.

You are to "nice" , to many serios fault, at least for me, also lots are habits, not fault, wich are hard to correct.
