Hi sweetie, this is my first year otr I team with my husband, we did a company first, and I could not drive overnight for nothing but like you said it's gotten easier and now I only want to drive overnight. Please be careful, please. It is dangerous out here.

Yes mamn. Night driving is tough at first. But once you get used to it, it's actually easier.

It’s always dangerous, wether your male or female young or old but if God is with you you need to learn to stop worrying. Is it more dangerous than it was 1000 years ago? No nothing new under the sun.

Recently I had an incident with my husband which is now putting me in a position to move myself and my son back home and I feel defeated. I felt we worked so hard to get where we are now and moving home feels like a lost. I’m also a truck driver and I am older and I didn’t think I would ever be a driver. All of this challenges my faith daily. On one of my routes I listened to this blog (which I have been following your journey for some time now) and I clearly knew this was a message for me. This morning I studied the book of Ruth and I can relate to Naomi. But now I know the steps I must take. God is with us and I want to truly thank you for your bravery to continue to share your thoughts and belief. Keep pushing. Stand firm in His faith. May God continue to bless you in the name of Jesus. ❤❤❤

I don't drive trucks but I remember switching from a day shift to a night shift. I felt like a zombie for the first week. Lol. Once I got use to it though, I loved it. Thank you for sharing your study on the book of Ruth. I love it's story of love, loyalty and redemption. It also displays how God loves and takes care of His people. The story is so important that through their union, Ruth gives birth to a son named Obed, who becomes the grandfather of King David.. Great vlog as always Niesha. Hope you are doing well. Proud of you. You know why? You're 2 for 2. 🤣🤟🏾

I drive to Phoenix every day from Vegas. I like to leave super super early. To avoid all the traffic. It’s so nice to get into Phoenix when everybody’s just barely getting up for the day. Such a nice drive in and I avoid the DOT scales too because those suckers aren’t awake yet😂😂😂 So it sounds like you’re doing as much driving as I am every day. I am new to driving as well. Just a year in. I am a owner operator with my husband and we’ve had the business for seven years. Thank Jesus❤ And for the Favorite truck, I’ve driven a Peterbilt and Kenworth. And I love my KENWORTH . It’s a 2007 KENWORTH W-900 18 speed day cab. But I’d be lying if I didn’t say I want a automatic it would make life so much easier especially in Phoenix traffic. Be safe out there!❤❤ And 300,000 miles on those trucks is nothing considering those trucks can go over 1,000,000 miles before you have to rebuild an engine. We just rebuilt the engine on my 2007 and that truck only had 50,000 before 1,000,000 miles!!

The facility you loaded at looks like it requires skill and experience specific to that location. I love how company drivers at facilities like that act as if it’s not challenging to do something they know they struggled with. God’s provision, Naomi’s inability to see past her loss, Ruth’s ability to see past her Moabite culture and have faith in Naomi’s God, and Boaz representing God’s redemption…powerful stuff.

I liked your study at the end Ms.K and what you took from the book. Ruth's love for her mother in law and her well being is something I try to apply to people in my life who are close to me and also to new people, to just be patience with people because you don't know what is going on in people's lives and you can be that little light in someone's life, to let them know they are not alone and someone cares for them, down here, (Of course God cares for them) but it's good to have someone, somebody, to lean on. Good video.

Hi Niesha, I also learned something in my study of Leviticus that points to the reason Ruth was able to meet Boaz. God repeatedly shows that He cares for and makes provision for the poor, but also foreigners, which Ruth was. In Leviticus 19:9-10, God puts a very compassionate and generous law in place. Read it and you'll see God again in Ruth and Boaz's love story. Thanks for the vlog and the Bible time.

I feel better hearing how soft spoken you are, and that the other workers at the docks and consignees can hear you outside the truck, or at least communicate by gestures back and forth- I am the type that’s soft spoken, and if I need to raise my voice to work , in a crowded environment, the octaves only LOWER , it’s been one thing that’s always hindered me, like directing a large crowd of voices to photograph large groups of people, in a large area ( church ) or ( large venue) as a wedding and event photographer

Tip for blackout curtains, need to be longer a lot and taller than whatever you're trying to cover up. Do that and no light will come through. 🎯Don't feel sad 30:41 God gave us the ability to turn our weaknesses into our biggest strength's. You just gotta attack whatever is weak and that brings you anxiety. You already started by showing what's vulnerable on camera, that's the hardest part, so ain't nothing else to fear. I didn't even wanna write this and point it out but I seen yo emotions. Tighten up warrior, that's a lite battle to a solider like you. ✌🏿...... The scripture said David taught Judah the use of the bowe with there right and left hand. These trials ain't nothing that the rest of our brothers and sisters experienced, BUT OVERCAME. BLESSINGS ❗❗❗

God bless you Sis. As pertaining to Ruth. This is why you must know God for yourself and know his leading. Naomi had a moment of weakness but Ruth knew she was a woman of God and if she followed her she would be blessed. This is also why you can't just leave a situation because it's uncomfortable. Seek His desire on the situation. Sometimes He may have something for you to go through. Sometimes He'll take you around the mountain. Sometimes over. Other times through it.

I totally feel your pain with these tight and "smedium" docks..... that wall didn't allow any room for error, especially when you had to back it between a trailer and another object.....yikes! I was in a similar situation for a shipper in Brownsville TX (Inteva products) where there's literally no room to back between two already docked trailers, while avoiding parked 4 wheelers and yellow barricades in front of the docks, not to mention I have to execute this in a sleeper cab, when day cabs are already STRUGGLING.....SMH. Google map this place and you'll see what I mean lol.

The smoke detector is fixed! Looks like you got a stepping stool too. It’ll come in handy for lotsa DIY stuff. It wouldn’t be a bad idea to get an impact driver. It’s like a power drill, but it has more power and you can drive bigger fasteners into wall studs without pre-drilling a hole. DeWalt or Milwaukee are recommended brands. A wall stud finder is cheap and lets you know where the stud is inside the wall. You really don’t want to use dry wall anchors for anything load bearing.
