Hakone is an awesome place. I was there 5-6 years ago and actually took a ride on that "pirate" ship. We also had the black eggs and black ice cream as well. Japan is an amazing place.

Nice to see some places I recognise, Sam. To do it in a Ferrari of any sort is amazing. The shrine you showed on the shore of Lake Ashi was the Torii. The shrine is was a full 180 degrees up the hill, for anyone wanting to visit. Thanks for video. Great work.

Just one thing if you're reading this sam, if you are in special parts of the world such as mount fuji or other wonders, pls use some local background music which goes well with the particular scenery. Some Japanese background music would be perfect with your shots. Just have a look at abroad in Japan's channel. Another Brit who does such shots impeccably.

In the flesh, beside a California and an 812 you can really appreciate how much better and more like it's big brother the Portofino is. I was seriously considering one as a future replacement for my Vanquish, but the rear seats are a few inches from usable and it's a real pity, a fractionally longer wheelbase to accommodate better back seats and it could have been the ultimate daily for someone with kids.
