Driving on the Öxi Pass (road 939) in Iceland

Öxi pass (road 939) is a short-cut along the Iceland's famous Ring Road on the East Iceland. It is an unpaved gravel road that opens only during the summer months. Using this road saves about 40 minutes of driving time to Egilsstaðir, even though you may be doing only 30km/h instead of 90 km/h on the Ring Road.
