The oscillating engine is literally how industrial pneumatic drills work. Great demonstration.

Wrong use of the word Oscillate: To move or swing back and forth at a regular speed. ie. Like a pendulum.

Nice. The noise it makes when the vehicle is being built is very satisfying.

It's the same 3 second loop just repeated over and over. Guy could have at least recorded the real noises.

As a country boy, I can safely say a hammer sucks. You want a simple oscillating mass directly above the post. In this case it would be a "reciprocating/oscillating vertical hammer"
@SlendisFi_UniverseАй бұрын
I mean. They actually use a vertical hammer driver and oscilating driver to drive the posts into the ground.
@Imperial_SquidАй бұрын
It's cool that the drop and oscillator ones have two different takes on creating force. Since force is mass times acceleration, you either need a lot of acceleration (eg by dropping a large weight, using gravity to accelerate it) or a lot of mass (each back and forth oscillation has little acceleration, but it uses the whole machine as the mass to push against the stake)
