Craig, another solid, practical video. Great reminders. Also, bidding on the route that no one else wanted, accepting the position; leading by example and setting the bar is what I'll call it ! You are a good mentor. I read this quote some time back. It came to mind again after watching your previous vlog. To me, it seemed fitting. "Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know when you find it." - Steve Jobs Wishing you well.

Craig, I came across your vlog while watching TruckerJim’s channel and started watching yours. I retired little over a year ago at the age of 54 from local government. I recently began the process obtaining my class A cdl license with the intent of driving for a large company for a year and then becoming an owner operator and running a flatbed or grain hopper trailer.

Craig Ryan yes it is. But it’s better even tho you loose a penny. But you know what your doing each day and your home to sleep in your bed. My route is about 2500 miles a week.

Nice video as always Craig.......we have to be so aware of the cars because the majority just don't pay enough attention and they always think the space we leave for our safe breaking if we need it is for them to jump into...drive safe
