I've been looking for a video on this test route and it's been difficult finding one on KZbin. Thanks for posting this. Please do more on Handsworth if you can. I hope this learner practise more and pass eventually. Waiting on my test in a few weeks at Handsworth.

He thought he was actually ready for the test. I think it’s more of false optimism and yes I couldn’t agree more he definitely needs more lesson which I told the learner a day before the test after a mock test I did for him that ended up in 10 serious faults but learner was still optimistic. That's great, it's a good area several B roads with lower traffic densities. Study the roundabouts well as you may come across few of them on the route. Best of luck, you can do it.

Thanks for your feedbacks James, unfortunately this was a real driving test and it is not allowed to record audio from an ongoing test. Background music for subsequent videos are now much lower than that of this video.

It was line charging from slip road to dual carriageway

Ahh that, yes it can be daunting especially when nerves are already on the edge. Being able to build your speed on the slip to match the traffic on the carriageway is vital so you can take the safety opportunity possible. On the other hand good judgment is required to find a safe gap and this is accompanied by appropriate use of mirror (right mirror in this case). Best thing is to take more practice and attempt this number of time.

Personally, I'd prefer if there was no music. It was too loud compared to your voice. Had to constantly keep adjusting the volume. Otherwise, shame on the instructor allowing the learner to take the test at that level of driving experience.

Thanks for the feedback John I’ll definitely take that on board. in regards to the instructor allowing him to go for the test, it would be easier to end on that conclusion but sometimes in the field allowing a learner as such go through with a driving test is the last resort to tell them they are not ready. On the other hand some learners are actually well capable of going through and passing but then their nerves don’t allow them and they do things that even they themselves wonder why they’ve done that. Also to mention that if the learner’s driving was dangerous and not safe at all then in that case he or she won’t be allowed to use my vehicle for their test.
