Nice looking truck I myself have a 1995 GMC Yukon with a 5speed with 4WD and it is awesome to drive, no one ever believes me that its a manual.

nice one! noticed you had an air freshener hanging from your rear view mirror like many people do. i was once pulled over driving through a dinky town. i hadn't done a damn thing wrong. i asked the cop why he pulled me over. he said my air freshener impeded my view of the road. we all know that was a pathetic excuse to pull me over, but apparently a legal one. i don't hang anything from my mirror anymore.

@@Zazeei have an ‘89 with the 350 TBI and the 700R4 and I get 10 city, 14 mixed and 22 highway. 20 if I run conventional oil. But she gets much better mileage than you’d expect.

I just saw a 93 on CL for 1800 with a 350 and 5 speed manual trans. Its a base model, not sure if yours is but i wouldnt care. Thats rare as hell. If i had the money now id buy it in a heart beat

Even it was an emissions test she would prob pass even with check engine light if I’m not mistaken on older models they go through the exhaust not the computer that is the throttle body fuel injected one right?

Lol every car ive owned over the last ten or more yrs has a perpetual check engine light so whats a mother to do ?? I put it in nuetral and rev it up a bit to you know check engine ..

+cumminstd90 also to add to that the getrag and the nv are the same externally however internals are a might different for the getrag had a 4 shift rail design with a selector finger to switch between rails which was a cast steel part prone to breaking (I know I've done it) where as the nv3500 introduced in 93 had a single shift rail design with a little beefier internals

Any half ton was the nv3500, same as a dodge, and 3/4 ton to 1 ton were nv4500 in chevy and dodge

@@mattconner8469 The NV4500 with the granny low gear was also available in the 1500 and the Blazer as an option. I special ordered a 92 K1500 pickup and it had the 4500, believe it was a $98 option above the base 3500. I also ordered 4.10 gears with a locker in the rear. Sadly all those cool old trucks and options are now long gone.

Nope. It came with it. They absolutely did come with a standard 5-speed, just like a pickup. This one is a 1993 BLAZER, not a Tahoe.

Alexander Castillo the interior was redesigned, they had the same engine though. Good old 5.7.

The dash and the gauges and the interior were all redesigned from 1995 to 1999, and the TBI 5.7 went to a Vortec 5.7 from 1996 to 1999.
