I can’t remember if I asked you guys this before, you had a 5th wheel before, what made you decide to change to a Class C? We’re considering selling ours and getting a travel trailer because we don’t have a slide or tow anything. I’ve only followed you with your current RV. It’s a tough decision because we have a Ford 150 with a lift so we’re limited in size of what we can tow...🤔

We're hoping to do a whole video on this because there were many reasons we downsized. But to help you now (not when a video posts who knows when) we mainly chose to downsize for ease on travel days, and simplicity of being able to go more places, park where we want, take our rig into the town or city without worrying. We also wanted the freedom to be in the cab, not towing and having to get out of the truck or vehicle and into the trailer/fifth wheel. That has been SO nice! It's great with the cats too. - Liz

Ok, been watching your great videos for a while now, and I have what may seem like an odd question. I’ve now noticed in several videos that the steering wheel on your rig has a Dodge Ram logo on it, yet the coach appears to be built on a Mercedes chassis (complete with tri-piont logo hood emblem)... just curious. Love the videos, and your fun relaxed vibe!
@EatSeeRV3 жыл бұрын
Hey Sam, thank you so much for your kind words! I too think it's odd that the wheel is badged dodge and I have no idea why that is. Chrysler did assemble and brand the Sprinter line for a few years before Mercedes took it back over. But I can't imagine why ours has both logos. - Dennis 🤣

Dennis and Liz, thanks for the video on Crested Butte. My wife and I home base in Mt Crested Butte and I am a former Mayor of that town. You did a great job showing CB. Just for clarification. Crested Butte was founded in 1880 as a supply town for the silver mines around the area. After the silver bust of the mid 1880’s they found high grade anthracite coal on the ridge south of town and it was a coal town into the 1950’s. It would have been a ghost town except for the founding of the ski resort in 1964. One other interesting fact is that some of the houses and other buildings in CB were moved from the town of Irwin after it closed down. Love the aerial work on Scarp’s Ridge and Long Lake.

Eat See RV No problem. By the way, you were lucky to leave before the storm. About 18 inches at my house and about 2000 homes without power in Gunnison because of near hurricane force winds bringing down trees. I was prepping our RV for a trip and had to blow out lines since it was unpowered in a storage yard. Currently in Bozeman MT starting to had back home. Safe travels and maybe we can meet up on your next loop through the area.
