👍🏻 on the clean up PSA.... the ancestral elders of the land very much appreciate it. I just don't get it, it takes just a much effort to put your trash in a bag as it does on the ground... shame on those who don't take care of the land 😕

Dennis, there is no end to your talents is there? Making sour dough, cleaning, litter picking, driving and getting lost on the trail You are a champion. All kidding aside, this was such a fun, varied and interesting video. A real glimpse into daily happenings besides 'just' the sightseeing ( which is awesome though). The cave dwellings were absolutely stunning. Another gem. Thanks for the privilege of watching. ❤️👍🎥🌷🙋‍♀️🙏

Dude it's so bad, I can't even get mad anymore. I just try to focus on being thankful that these public campsites are still available for me to enjoy. Plus it gives me a chance to be alone with the land and establish a deeper connection to it. Hopefully more folks will start to feel the same way. None of our human endeavors or agendas will matter when the earth can no longer support life. - Dennis ✌️

As Winter begins creeping south, check out Southern Arizona. Catch Sedona on the way south, and as many of the historical sites as time will allow as you work your way south. From Chiricahua NM in the SE corner, to Bisbee and Tombstone, Saguaro NP, Casa Grande NM, Sonoran Desert NM, Organ Pipe NM, Why, Ajo, Gila Bend, Yuma to Quartzsite, Southern AZ is an amazing place to ride out Winter!

For years I've made a point of leaving camp grounds better than I found it. The camp ground I most frequent is used by very responsible families. However, I still maintain the practice...always. So for this individual camp ground I usually only find a bottle cap or one of those plastic tabs used to secure the twist on bread. Usually buried in the leaves. I'm seeing trash reports on all my favorite RV KZbin channels. Would be great if the community could band together for a campaign. Maybe this happens in conjunction with park agencies. Something similar to the Smokey the Bear campaigns. Design a graphic that could go on the large, mostly blank, real estate on the rear of most RV's. Something simple, well designed. Something to spread the word. Contain one of your favorite motto's. "Leave It Better than You Found It"....."Pack it in, pack it out"....etc. Doesn't have to be too big, but it has to be more than a bumper sticker.

Great idea! I'm glad to hear other channels are also reporting on it and advocating for the same things. - Liz

Leaving FL next week to spend some time in 4 corners and just checked each states COVID restrictions, looks like NM is the only state requiring 14 day quarantining and you told us about the Navajo Nation being closed. (We really wanted to go to Monument and Antelope) We are in a 37 Class A and will be mostly in campgrounds but may try some BLM lands. Can you advise of any other park closures we should be aware of. Thank you
@EatSeeRV
@EatSeeRV 4 жыл бұрын
We're not exactly the best people to give advice on that. As you can see from our last video planning is typically only done partially 😂 but I think you've summed it up well. We avoided NM because you have to self quarantine in 1 location and 14 days in one spot is a long time for us. But there's so much to do and see in NM it's beautiful. Any native lands are likely closed. So just check that before visiting. You might be surprised what is actually native owned. Four corners monument for example is closed. Enjoy tour trip! - Liz

That tunnel at Mesa Verde was the one I was telling you about when my auto lights didn't come on in the jeep and I bumped up against the side of the tunnel. I wish that was the only encounter it had with the nature! I actually had to go to the hospital in Cortez to get some bloodwork done while we were in Durango and I drove out to Canyons of the Ancients.
