Dry road and sunshine! Good time to travel the Dempster 😀

The weather did break down a few days later on the way back, but what can you do, eh?

Holy blazes. A regular full time director, camera man, sound system, underwater fish camera, flying drone. Best produced video yet. Glad you showed the Dawson city pubs which I had a great time in and crawled back to my van in the hostel across the river. I was lucky enough to be there for the 3 day moosehide gathering, where the local natives put a potluck dinner on for up to 1,000 people a day. Moose, salmon. Amazing event recovering there heritage.

Wow, thanks for the compliments. We also went to the Moosehide gathering, on the Sunday, I think. It was really hot that day. So glad you liked the video!

Great work on the video! Im going (5th trip) to Alaska-BC-Yukon. Its been 10 years. Nothing like the Dempster!

Thanks for the comment. After going to the Yukon the last 3 summers in a row, I am not going this year, alas. But my daughter is returning, and getting paid to go. She landed a gig with a popular and successful KZbinr that makes and promotes sport fishing in BC and the Yukon www.youtube.com/@FishingwithRod

Did this last summer. SO many times the views make you think, "this place can not be real." ...but it is. EASILY the most beautiful road I've driven.

Did the same run in late August. It was spectacular!

Absolutely gorgeous, closest I got to Alaska was fort Nelson in British Columbia, worked there four seasons doing highway paving

Glad you liked it and took the time to comment. I MIGHT be up there again this summer, which would make it the 5th year in a row.

Holy Cow, you stayed in the place I changed a flat tire! Except when I had the flat it was raining and the road was moose snot.

We were lucky on the weather on the way up. - it did break down o the way back. Moose snot is a good description.

Nice video. I did this same run as part of a 10 week trip through western Canada and Alaska in June. The Rivers were at flood stage then.

Yes, they will do that. The last few years have had really high spring run offs in the Yukon.

So many videos seen on KZbin force the viewer to watch the narrator for a significant portion of the clip. I don't want to watch you talk about your adventure, I want to see what you are seeing. I like videos that show the the journey. Your video was very nicely done!!

I'm glad you picked up on that. It was what I was aiming at. Ha, partly because I think my voice sounds weird and my face is better suited for radio. But yeah, those videos with the smiling couples in front of all the scenery you're trying to see. Thanks for the feedback!
