@theendlesstravellers .. yes I agree.. I use to drive twice a year from UK to Alb.. summer holidays and Christmas..and I know wha it is to drive there.. Have you guys been to Theth yet? If yes .. what was the experience?

Amazing drive through a truly beautiful country , funny but true story I did the same in kosovo as I forgot to pay a bar bill but did so when I returned to U.K. . I felt awful and almost like a thief at the time lol you sorted it and in life things happen so maybe you can laugh now . Great video but the driving out there is insane , catch you in a week and a half as we fly to Corfu Friday morning flight 6.55 from Luton , cheers and loving the channel

It was definitely a horrible feeling, but we can laugh about it now. It is definitely a completely different driving experience compared to the UK. I hope you have an amazing time, you will love it!

Loved, loved this video! My husband loves to drive and with his bit of ADHD hyperfocus he's unstoppable, lol! Ya know, it's an easy thing to do, forgetting to pay, especially when they're not asking you for it! Try not to feel bad, it wasn't your intention, and you'll make it right. Thanks for showing the realities! Can't wait to visit that site at Apolonia (?), I hope I have that right. You get as excited as me for OLD things! Thank you so much, so glad you like it! The payment just completely slipped our minds as we were focused on getting on the road. Yes Apolonia, it is such a beautiful place to explore and there were so many well presented artefacts.

I agree in that Butrint is kinda... boring. But they are spending millions of dollars in building some visitor centers with grand, contemporary architecture to try and turn it into a more interesting park. If you google "butrint renovation," you can see what it's gonna look like.
