It’s funny when reviewers drive a Tesla for the first time, they act like an anthropologist discovering a new and rare treasure. Meanwhile the rest of us have been dailying Teslas for years.

At 10:15 - 10:26 you mention Tesla missing a button to switch you from standard to insane mode. It does in fact have that option. You need to set up a shortcut for the left scroll wheel, and it'll instantly switch modes as you seek. Go to menu>controls>display>touch “Scroll Wheel Function”> Choose a function from the list. You’re welcome. I don’t have one yet, but I want one and know about all the functions. I will have one, someday!

I don’t understand why Tesla doesn’t tint the full rear window like they do with the model y. The untinted section of the glass is unsuitable for warm climates.
@nicksellorsАй бұрын
It's stop start because you're driving it like an ICE. You use the throttle gently, don't just lift off, that's why it's called one pedal driving Try it again with a modified technique and never use the brakes which is the best way to do it - my old one was still on original pads and disks when I sold it at 220k miles... (And yes it was driven)

@nozopoke1782Ай бұрын
It’s not all about the intense usage you give it. If you want a regular model 3 or the Lr, I’ll give you that. But a performance model is to have fun, even if you do not drive it enough to justify the mileage

Not the ideal SOC for acceleration tests.
@G82WattsАй бұрын
If u have to have a high SoC too get better times that's not ideal real world testing. Normal everyday driving u can't navigate to a supercharger and be at 90% or higher SoC. Then u guys act like it's faster then another car based on that singular run when other cars have the same performance at all times.

9:15 - you like the smell of gasoline? You know that’s lethal and toxic, right? Oof. Said like a true noob. The M 3 P has its own set of unique sounds…you just have to listen. It’s like tea vs coffee. Subtle versus strong. There’s something intrinsically satisfying about knowing you’re driving one of the most understated and powerful cars on the road, that goes like a darting minnow, and you don’t have to make a ruckus with all of that petrol pomp and circumstance. It just gets the job done, better: safer, cheaper, more conveniently, and quieter. The noise may be better left at the drag strip, where sound dB is proportionally related to HP. It’s a paradigm shift.
