Nice review. I think while manually downshifting, you have been doing it at a much higher speed for the selected gear; as the tachometer was raising considerably to the higher rpm with each down shift.

The sensor while accelerating and breaking is not working quickly. That is even after i press the accelerator the car picks up by delay. And also importantly while breaking the engine rpm is still pulling the vehicle to forward and the breaking is not sudden and not effective. This is a major & critical drawback i found risky in this mahindra AMT.

This is new.. there was no mention of not using Auto mode for uphill driving earlier. Ridiculous! What's the point of having an AMT car and then requiring to use manual mode for uphill driving?

It is recommended as you can keep engine in optimum speed.

On this video..I noticed when the person engaged the parking brake he just lift up the brake lever actually it was wrong practice..must together press the brake liver button then engaged the parking brake..

Actually no.. You only got to push the button when you are realeasing and It is really not recommended to engage parking brake with button pressed

all most an year i was observing Mahindra TUV300. I have wated almost every reviews in youtube and read many user reviews in various websites. Let me make my view, As far as, TUV300 has significant issues especially to the clutch, gear box and lacking service according to the users point of view. the only good part is it has a good SUV look and stance. I really wish mahindra would test their cars before deliver to customers. that probably reduce the issues. Moreover, i expect mahindra would think about a facelift with significat changes in gear box and cluch. which may help. Another aspect i have noticed in all review, the company is offering the fuel economy of 18 km per litter. Unfortunately, an overwheling majority is getting only 13 or 14. thats really disappointing. please, i really liked the design... but..these issues are pulling backwards. please make improvements.

100% I agree with your opinion bro. I like the appearance of TUV300 but 8/10 negative or improvement suggestion reviews are from unhappy TUV owners. I have been going through reviews in youtube and team BHP for this model of Mahindra vehicle. If M&M and can rectify those mechanical issues, I am happy to buy this vehicle :)

Why do I need to use manual mode to start the car from an uphill parking mode? Can't I just shift to A, then press the accelerator and release the handbrake? The AMT clutch should work in this way too and the speed should be A1. Am I right?
