Generally, Asian people are quiet on who they are voting for. I don’t see any of my Asian family or friends express their political view on social media nor do we talk about it amongst each other. However, we are very much in tune and aware of what’s going on and although not publicly expressed, many Asian communities are voting for Trump.

(We also don't like the term AAPI, I worked at a university and argued this since it takes away our culture and lumps us as one, when we arent. The american diaspora don't seem to mind, but immigrants do.) Now the American diaspora (we just refer to as Americans. The rest of the world doesn't separate by race) are more blue and participate in surveys. The real "asian americans" are the ones that move over since they are both (like me). They may be decended from a culture, but ultimately are American. I used to vote blue because of the scene, the narrative that the world was out for everyone that isnt white or straight. So, I realized I hate being a victim and being looked down by saying that im "disadvantaged". The culture shared is more centrist and will vote for who will help since a common trait shared by asian and cultures that are low context is collectivism (the use, and wester europe is high context cultures). It's extremely difficult for a Chinese student who has a bachelor's degree to even get a STUDENT visa to study in America. The lab manager in my old university research lab in L.A. got turned down five times before she got her student visa. And she had to take an overnight train to the embassy in Beijing and wait in a line with two thousand people just to get an interview in our embassy. For the parents of my Chinese friends to even get a visitor's visa is an ordeal. And for a Chinese student here to get a work permit (Green Card) is damn near impossible without a significant amount of effort from their American employer. And it takes YEARS to qualify for a Green Card application. Most of the Chinese I know spent around 8-10 years here before they got a Green Card. What's going on today with illegals flooding our borders is the most unfair and unjust thing ever to have happened to this country in regards to immigration matters.

If every registered Republican in Los Angeles voted early for Trump today he’d build a near insurmountable lead going into Election Day and would likely win California. Again, that’s just the Republicans in Los Angeles of which only 200K have voted out of 900K. Basically everyone in California believes that Democrats cannot lose the state so turnout is crazy low. If the people who want Trump to win just voted for him they’d guarantee him the presidency. That’s why the Trump campaign keeps posting about California. They want to keep Democrats complacent while somehow signaling to their supporters to get out and vote. Also, most of the House seats up for grabs are in California and New York. If Democrats control the house they’ve already said openly that they’ll refuse to certify the results and will block Trump from being seated as POTUS. Jamie Raskin has said this on camera repeatedly. So if you want more money, more safety, a secure border, chemicals out of the food, and peace it’s absolutely critical that you get out and vote for Trump. The alternative is we stay on the current trajectory. Just a couple months ago military experts told Congress that we’ve never been closer to a third world war and if it started today we’d need a draft that includes women and we’d still lose. Californians who support Trump have the power to actually save the country and all they have to do is vote because we know Democrat turnout in California is going to be significantly lower than 2020. So frustrating to watch this opportunity to send a HUGE message to the DC establishment that we’re sick of the corruption, waste, open borders, and forever wars only to have Republicans in California make no effort to stop this insanity.

The only people voting Blue are those employed by government and the corrupt Hollywood elite. That is why Democrats are letting in so many migrants so they can attempt to establish a new voting base. Glad to see more Asians open up about their political views. I registered as a Democrat on my 18s birthday in 2006 thinking since I was born and raised in California, I too should vote blue. What a bad decision that was. I regret voting for the Democrat and their policies. Came 2016, Hillary VS Trump. A politician vs a business man. It would be a no brainer to choose Hillary who knows politics and has a former first Lady right? WRONG! Watching how biased the mainstream media was covering both candidates, I decided to do my own research and what do you know. The person the media is portraying each candidate to be, they're the total opposite. I read their policies and what they plan to do as POTUS. I switched to the Republican Party and voted for Donald Trump in 2016. Voted for him in 2020 and I've already voted this year and Trump has my vote again. Everyone wondered why I was so Pro Trump. I told them to shy away from the mainstream media and do their own research on each candidate and their policies. To compare how the economy under Biden/Harris is to the economy under Trump. A lot of my friends and family (Asians) regret voting for Biden/Harris in 2020. They now see how biased the mainstream media is.

I'm a Chinese-American male and grew up in America. I understand the people in the video why they think that way. In the traditional Chinese family culture, it is deep rooted in the patriarchal and authoritarianism. Fortunately, I have left that tradition behind. It was too archaic for me. You don't get to think or express freely/openly. So, I worked my a## off to get through college on my own, have a great job, fabulous American wife, love our suburban life in the West (Sacramento), and participate in local community events to help to bring awareness or change. That is my American experience, and I hope everyone will find their path in life that truly represent them. Not through Trump.
